Super-amazing ideas!!!! I have wanted to see Adobe move into the live production space for ages. Mostly in the live motion visuals for theatre productions and nightclubs. But now, with livestreaming being accelerated by the pandemic, it seems like having the entire array Adobe's media tools integrated into a livestreaming platform would just make so much sense.
The NDI integration was a step in the right direction but NDI needs a lot of refinement and livestreaming encoder/switcher software like OBS, vMix, or Wirecast are primitive and lacking in consistency and quality compared to Adobe.
I can't belive that Adobe hasn't already developed these things for the live broadcast TV market. All they really need to do is polish up their preview codecs and partner directly with NewTek to make NDI ubiquitous. If Adobe fully embraces NDI and launches a live streaming platform then hardware and camera manufacturers will follow suite and before you know it, setting up a completely professional live stream studio with seamlessly compatible hardware and software and glitch-free operation will be as accessible as pro-grade photography or desktop publishing.
Hope someone is listening and takes these ideas to heart.Brown Miller supported this idea ·
