Hi Bryan,
I want to provide an update for you on this issue.
Unfortunately, due to the way we handle source settings in Media Encoder right now, it's not a simple change to make it possible to apply source settings to multiple files. In the short term, we are going to remove the ability to choose Source Settings when multiple files are selected; that's a bug because it implies that multiple files can be changed simultaneously when in fact that does not work.
However, your very reasonable request is still something we are going to figure out how to do. I don't have a date for when this will be done - we need to do more investigation - but I will update this request when I have more info.
Thanks again,
Fergus

Hi all,
We're looking into how this feature might work. Christopher Ward, one of the Media Encoder engineers, asked some questions below:
1. Would you prefer a fixed 90 degrees rotation or more granular steps?
2. Also, would you expect the width and height of the exported file to be changed as well or would you prefer the frame size to be fixed and the image to be scaled / pillarboxed? Example: File has 1920 x 1080 (wxh) and the rotated has 1080 x 1920 or still 1920 x 1080 and the image is cut off or has black bars?
Thanks! We're not committing to delivering this feature but we're looking into it.
Fergus

Hi everyone, first of all thanks for filing this great idea! I have a question regarding a possible implementation. Would you prefer a fixed 90 degrees rotation or more granular steps?
