    All,

first of all I wanted to thank everyone for making this a productive conversation over the last couple of days.

As several people responded to my comment about keeping the tone civilised, I need to dwell on that for a minute. Please hear me out, this is important to everyone on my crew and I hope it will be to you.

Saying that we shouldn't be surprised when things get heated is very problematic in my opinion. How do you expect a junior person on my team to respond to a technical question when it is combined with something that can easily be described as hate speech? How do you think we can actually come together on actual issues when there's already the assumption that we're a big faceless corporation, not even listening to our customers?

People on my team have received threats. I've been there over the years,…

Adding to this issue, the entire screen is taken up by the Export tab. One a 3 or 4+ monitor system setup, this is incredibly inefficient use of screen space. I have to move the mouse and make selections across an entire 4 foot desktop monitor array just to make export selections in Premiere that used to be an efficient, single pop-up dialog screen.

We pay for professional tools - if Adobe wants to appeal to an amateur FCP 10 user fine, but give us Professionals the ability to switch into a Pro UI like we have been proficient with for the last 20+ years - and please don't try to re-design Windows Explorer. Just leave incredibly well enough alone, please.

There is no way to see what files are in the export location so you have to either guess what export name you have used in previous versions of the project export or go out of Premiere, open the project folder in Windows, and look at what previous exports exist. The whole point of Windows Explorer is to be able to utilize the Windows file system. Why would this be extracted from a Windows program to be completely hindered by this new UI?

I cannot see what files are in the folder location via the export settings, thus this is a MAJOR flaw in Premiere that needs to be corrected.

Agreed! Adobe Encore was a key part of my workflow and still is to this day. Had to install an old copy just to keep working as I create DVDs almost every day. Very frustrating that the DVD software has been removed.
