2. An Autosave countdown warning would be amazing. Autosave is incredibly disruptive and always cuts you off in the middle of something.

   Maddening beyond belief. I now copy and paste things into After Effects when I need to do a lot of masking and link the composition. The back and forth is still faster that fighting with it in Premiere.

   This is a total pain, I agree.  It really means that very fine masking is impossible.  If we made masking work more like After Effects, would that be a good solution?  Double-click on a mask to bring up a bounding box to scale and rotate.
