The new title (graphics) system is garbage.
I pay good money for this every year. I can't even get an educational discount despite being a teacher, or pay once and get it for life and keep one version without getting useless "upgrades"
I already lost Encore, which was at least 25% of why I used Adobe stuff to begin with. Sometimes forward momentum can take you off a cliff.
1. Your new system sucks
2. There was no reason to get rid of the titler to begin with.
Keep whittling away at all the reasons I actually pay for adobe stuff, though. I'm sure open source software is getting better. There will likely be a breakthrough in the next few years that will negate the need for an expensive NLE and have all the features I need. You won't release a Linux version, you threaten legal action to anyone using old software that we paid for, and you remove the features I actually use one by one. Every time you pull this ****, it makes it easier to ditch you forever.
If it was removed to force people to buy / use After Effects, well... I already pay for AE, but I don't want to have to open ANOTHER super resource intensive bit of software to do ONE THING that I could previously do in Premiere, let alone spend the time to learn new software that I just won't know how to use in 2 years anyhow. At least with the previous "buy" model, you could just learn your software and only have to learn new stuff in 6 or 7 years, instead of sometimes more than once a year. It's infuriating.Luke MacDonald supported this idea ·
