@Tyrone Steele
Switching from Hardware GPU to Software render mode doesn't solve the problem. It's a workaround, but the software render is much slower than GPU render. -

Hi all,
The I-frame first idea is implemented in multiple codecs, including anything that is LongGOP in an MXF wrapper, XDCAM in a MOV wrapper, and it's being added for the work that will be released soon that will hardware accelerate AVC Intra on Apple silicon in MXF.
Regards,
Fergus

Yep, I wish they treated Qualifiers like a mask, rather than a seperate effect that just provides a limited toolset.

Hey AE Staff!
It seems like the UI could potentially be fast. As soon as a path/mask is selected, AE seems to switch to another rendering mode that uses the GPU. Maybe it's possible to just always use this rendering mode to always have that performance boost?
Here you can clearly see the difference:

Okay, it's getting ridiculous. I'm not able to export from After Effects via Media Encoder anymore. I tried my luck with three different projects that all have a completely different timeline, different effects, everything. The export fails no matter what. Please, how am I supposed to work professionally with this software? Our clients don't care why we can't meet a deadline, we can't tell them "Well... The biggest software for motion graphics on the market isn't able to export your film. Sorry."
Pre-render everything takes time and disk space. Please fix this.
