Unsupported media type
I have been using Premier Rush for some time. And today, started revising an error when creating a video unsupported media type 1 of 1 media could not be imported. I am importing the same type of video file that I have importing since I started working with Rush. Is there an fix coming out?

Great news! This issue has been fixed, and an update (1.5.2) will be available in the App Store today! If you run into any problems with import, please submit a new post.
Thanks for your patience on this one.
Happy Editing!

Hi there,
I am getting the same error now on ios version of the app, Iphone 12 Pro Max. Trying to import image files from Icloud, which have been fully downlaoded. -

I am suddenly getting this message now too. I have never seen it before, and now half of my pictures can’t be imported. They were all taken on the same Canon camera, imported into Lightroom as RAW images and edited, then saved as jpg on my camera roll. Some can be added in Premier Rush and some cannot. I am using an iPad Pro.

I’m still experiencing the same problem. Importing the same type of files from my camera roll on iPhone, and all the sudden “unsupported media type”. I even uninstalled and reinstalled app prior to coming here and still same result. HELP!!

IOS version 14.2.1

Hello,
W.R.T iPhone 12 HDR media, we're working as fast as we can to add support to the latest HDR format from Apple. For now, the solution is to disable HDR format in your device's Settings.
Open Settings > Camera > Record Video, then toggle off the switch next to "HDR Video."
We're sorry for this inconvenience. Please follow this post for updates

Can edit the video in iMovie but a 2 Minute video is over 1 Gig. I suspect the file size is the problem. Maybe the File size from the iPhone1 is too large ?
