Add your own sound effects
If yoy download sound effects on your device you can import that into the app to use
1 voteHi there!
Rush recently added hundreds of Sound Effects to Rush.
If you want to import your own, you can add your sound effect to Files, Creative Cloud or Dropbox.
Happy New year!

Can we adjust the added sound levels?
Can we be able to adjust the sound levels that we add as an extra please?
1 voteYes, you can adjust the audio by selecting any clip (video or soundtrack), open the Audio inspector. From that, you can adjust the volume and other options under the advance section.
Hope this helps!

Volume fade bar setting
Looking to add a volume fade setting so I can fade in and out if certain audio pieces
1 voteHi Carlo,
You can fade in/out your audio by applying a cross-dissolve transition to your audio clip. You can adjust the duration by adjusting the duration slider or dragging the transition handles on the transition in the timeline.
I hope this helps!

Audio Fade In / Fade Out
I have read that I can achieve this by using Transitions, but would like more control over the effect.
Great app! Keep up the good work!180 votesHello All,
Thanks for writing in and/or voting for this. If you’ve missed my previous comment, I’ll add it again below. Audio fades have been available in Rush since 1.0 (see steps below). If you come across any issues related to transitions with or without audio, please file a report here: adobe.ly/rushbug

@Adobe on FacebookWe’re thinking of ways how we can make this more clear to users in the future. We would love to hear your ideas on how you’d expect/like this to work.
Steps to add transitions to audio
1. Select a video or audio clip in the timeline
2. Open the Transitions Inspector, select the Cross Dissolve transition (or one of the others)This will apply a transition to the beginning and end of your selected clip. If you want to apply a transition…

Music Fade in Out
Is there a way to fade in and out music that you import. I've been trying to find a way but ...no luck. Can you add that feature
6 votesClosing request. Including my previous response here
Hello!
You can apply transitions to an audio clip. Here’s how
1. Select an audio clip in the timeline
2. Open the Transitions Inspector, select any of the transitionsThis will apply a transition to the beginning and end of your selected clip. If you want to apply a transition to only one side of the clip, you can drag and drop the transition to the desired position.
We’re thinking of ways how we can make this more clear to users in the future. We would love to hear your ideas on how you’d expect/like this to work.
Thanks,
Peter

premiere pro audio tracks
When opening a Premiere Rush Project in Adobe Premiere Pro all the audio-tracks are flattened to a single track making it impossible to do further adjustments in Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition. It would be nice to keep the different tracks separated.
2 votesHi Tom,
Thanks for writing in. Audio tracks are not flattened when opening a Rush project in Premiere Pro although I understand why it appears that way.
There’s a known issue when opening a Rush project in Premiere Pro where extra audio tracks are created (your audio is placed in A32). To resolve this please follow these steps
1. Open Rush Project in Premiere Pr
2. Right-click on the track header
3. Select “Delete Tracks…” > Select Delete all empty audio tracksAt this point, you’ll see all of your audio tracks. We hope to improve this experience in a future release. If you have any follow up questions please reach out to us here

Musik fade in / fade out
If you’re still experiencing this issue in the current release of Rush, please reach out to our support team for immediate assistance.

Why can you only add music from iTunes this app is useless for anyone that wants to be independent and make their own stuff. Why only iTunes
Allow media from other sources. Or if this is a Apple Music app only then i apologize. I want to use my own music I won’t use this anymore because of this alone and definitely would not recommend it. Sell it as a Apple Music video editor that title fits it perfect
1 voteWe hear you on this one! If you’d like to add a music file (such as an MP3), you can use Dropbox or Creative Cloud files on mobile, or simply drag the MP3 into your project on desktop.

Audio preview before adding media
Audio preview before adding media
7 votesHey all!
You can preview audio files in Rush today. Place the pointer over the soundtrack you’re interested in. You’ll see a full-screen icon appear on the bottom right of the thumbnail, click on that to preview the file. You can listen to the audio and also select the parts you want to import.
You can do this for video clips as well!
Happy Editing!

Add free soundtrack
Add free soundtrack
5 votesThere is actually a collection of 10 free “Rush Soundtracks” included.
On Mobile: tap the blue + button to add media, then [audio], then [Rush Soundtracks]
On Desktop: click the blue + button, then select the ‘Media Browser’ at the top drop down, then select ‘Rush Soundtracks’ towards the bottom.
Please let us know if these soundtracks are not what you were hoping for and if so, what you expected.

Audio scrubbing
Very simply so I know where I am audio wise when I’m editing. It is often on audio cue that I, and no doubt most other editors, male the cut.
6 votesHi Tom and others
You can enable audio scrubbing in the Sequence menu > “Play Audio while scrubbing” on Mac or Windows.
We do not have a preference for this feature on mobile. If that’s what you’re hoping for, please make a new request.
Thanks!

Audio fade in/out
It would be nice to have the facility to fade in/out music tracks. I would have thought this to be a very basic thing to be able to do in Rush. If I have to use Premier Pro to do this, then not much point in having Rush!

Audio cross fades
Audio cross fades would be very helpful. Also the ability to take audio and video tracks and move them around independently. For instance, if i’m using dialogue from an interview under some related video, it would be helpful to be able to move those tracks around the timeline independent of the video.
