Make Rush actually work on Samsung phones!
So many functions not working!!! I'm a fluent Premiere user, using Rush for the first time, in heavy consultation with the Adobe Community Support solutions to common problems. On a Samsung S20FE with 8gb RAM and over 40GB of free space. The video assets in my project are less than 500mb. Here's a list of issues:
Exporting always fails. The film is a minute long, I'm exporting at 720p, and I can't even get past 1%. I've left it for hours, no progress made.
so apparently the projects need to be fully sync'd before an export can occur. This is according to a response by an Adobe Community Professional. So why is this not mentioned upon export attempt in-app? Moreover, why is the sync feature turned off by default, if its apparently necessary for such an essential function as exporting?
After turning sync on, and waiting til the little blue upload circle is complete, I get a red exclamation mark error. Screenshot attached. It says the most likely cause is an interpretation from another device. I do not have Rush on another device. Also, I do not have another device. There is seemingly no way to resolve this error. I've force-quit the app, restarted my phone, and reopened Rush. Several times. Syncing won't complete. I can"t proceed with export.
One Adobe Community Professional suggested signing out of the Adobe accound and signing back in. I did so. My project was gone. Entirely gone. Back to the first screen where the only way forward is to make a new project. What gives?
Adobe, this app is RUBBISH. It's riddled with bugs, just like Premiere Pro has become since the last big update. What am I paying my subscription for?
