Adjusting audio levels along the entirety of a clip
We absolutely need granular control over audio levels along the length of a clip, whether attached to video or not. I’m not talking about auto-ducking or fade-in / fade-out. A simple line along the audio track that can be clicked to add unlimited points and dragged to adjust level is by far the best solution! iMovie/Final Cut has had this forever. It’s a simpler solution than key frames, and FAR better than the ineffective workaround of dropping a cross fade transition on to the audio.
This issue alone prevents me from being able to edit with this software on my iPad Pro, there’s simply no way to properly adjust audio levels throughout a clip or transition audio accurately and avoid things like hard cut audio “pop” artifacts. Whether transitioning dialogue, ambient noise, or editing music behind your composition, this is a simple, powerful, and completely necessary feature. Thank you.
