Support HDR video from iPhone 12
Why can't videos recorded from iphone 12 be added to Premier Rush

Does anyone have this same problem: I imported a short MP4-video and first in the big preview screen it worked normally...but suddenly, after a couple of seconds, the video flattens into a rather narrow area and black wide borders appear on both the left and right. Never happend before. I have the new updated version (2.12.2021 updated).

Any new information regarding to HDR-Videos one year later? I love the app, but with my iPhone 13 I need to work with iMovie which is supporting hdr.

It's not just iPhone videos. Mine won't even import a jpg.

I'm also having this issue, it's reporting "unsupported media type"

Recorded on a 12. Made a whole video before it started crashing. Didn’t even try to export. Wanted to just try opening on my desktop
& completing it there.... but my desktop can’t even find the project because the files won’t fulully load -

I am using an iPhone 12 Pro and made a really cut up video and it won’t export and then crashed. I restarted the phone, etc. Now it doesn’t even let me play the project, it just crashes over and over. It will not let me export either.

Yes, HDR export would be nice.

This is a terrible app... useless for anyone wanting to export videos in HDR.

HDR videos work but look extremely washed out. unusable.

I can open and edit HDR vids on my iPhone 12 Pro, but it appears to remove the HDR information, making the exported file look duller

It now seems as Premier Rush converts my videos from HDR to standard. Colors are dull. As if I film with HDR switched off?
So yes I can add my videos, but there is no HDR effect left when imported?? -

There's no new update for me in the App store. It just says "open" instead of update on all devices.
Still getting the Media Import Error for older 12 footage.

Did you update the app in the App Store?

It all works, Jess. Finally!

Video I just shot on my iPhone 12 Pro is now importable into Rush. However, what about all of iPhone 12 footage from BEFORE today? It is still incompatible.

Eric Windsor commented
Looks like they fixed it with the latest iOS version. We can all rejoice. Please confirm here if you see the same.

Support iPhone HDR — it’s been like a month. What’s up with this?

Same issue. Adobe needs to get on board, but Apple loooves to surprise everyone by forcing new chargers, removing headphone jacks, removing USB ports, etc. and now adobe has to follow suit with this BS.
IF adobe knew in advance then that's a different story.

Unacceptable that your app won’t support iphone 12.
