Unsupported media type
I have been using Premier Rush for some time. And today, started revising an error when creating a video unsupported media type 1 of 1 media could not be imported. I am importing the same type of video file that I have importing since I started working with Rush. Is there an fix coming out?
Great news! This issue has been fixed, and an update (1.5.2) will be available in the App Store today! If you run into any problems with import, please submit a new post.
Thanks for your patience on this one.

I have been using Adode premium rush for a couple months now and have made a few videos with ease and a successful import/download to my desktop and then into google drive.
Now when I go to go "share" and import/download my most recent project it downloads to my desktop but when trying to open a message pops up saying "The file isn’t compatible with QuickTime Player." When I go to upload this video into my google drive, the video downloads and then says the document does not exist...?
Do you have any solutions for me? Again, I am new at this software and any advice would be well appreciated.
Rush should support any format that is natively supported on the device (eg plays in the gallery/camera roll).
If you have files that do not playback /import correctly, please send me the file so I can try to understand why it's not working. Please upload to any file sharing site (Google, Dropbox, etc).

I have the same issue and the problem persist. Can’t seem to upload any photograph in the JPG format to any of my videos on my iPhone 11 with the latest iOS version. Please fix this bug, it’s really annoying!

El problema persiste!.
Es realmente frustrante tratar de editar videos en esta app si estoy tan limitado al momento de incluir mis archivos multimedia y recibir mensajes de error con cada uno de ellos.

Asking a similar question as Zach's -- importing 4K HEVC 8-bit videos went through, but importing 4K HEVC 10-bit was unsuccessful. Could the bit depth be the limitation?

I am also having this same issue. I am using an ipad pro 9.7 inch, MLT12LL/A. The videos I am trying to import are .mp4's. I have been doing quite a few other videos and had no problem. But certain videos are not loading. Does it have anything to do with the format?
Are your images over 4k (4000x4000x)? If so, they need to be downsized to 4k are lower.
Let us know!

Its still doing the same. Would import now and using the same source a while later it would give the error message.

I am using a iPhone 10s max and I’ve been using the app for recording done on my iPhone and yes they used to work and then this problem accrued and they are turning black when I try after the error, I can’t import them using the app but other apps are allowing me to do these things but I want to use rush because it it better for me. Please respond and let me know anything. If I can’t find a fix before the day to renew the billing payment I’m just going to cancel it and delete the app.

rob tudor is exactly right! I just tested this and the untouched file works while the previously edited version of the file gives me this error.
I received this error while trying to import a file into a new project in Rush that I had trimmed from 2 minutes down to 15 seconds. Luckily when I trimmed the original file I had selected to create a new (trimmed) file instead of altering the original so I tried importing the untouched, untrimmed, original 2 minute file and it imported flawlessly. Thanks Rob!
