Unsupported media type
I have been using Premier Rush for some time. And today, started revising an error when creating a video unsupported media type 1 of 1 media could not be imported. I am importing the same type of video file that I have importing since I started working with Rush. Is there an fix coming out?
Great news! This issue has been fixed, and an update (1.5.2) will be available in the App Store today! If you run into any problems with import, please submit a new post.
Thanks for your patience on this one.

I am unable to upload my logo file to the video I’m trying to create. Tried png, jpg and psd and it keeps posting this same error. Any suggestions on a workaround?

I am having the issue even after updating the app. The files are all png but 2 of 3 will not import. Earlier today I used the same files and it worked just fine.
For anyone seeing this error for videos or stills supported by iOS and Rush, please provide us a sample file that we can use to verify this issue.
You can attach the file to the thread or provide a link to a file-sharing site.
Thanks in advance,

This is suddenly happening to me with a video that was playing fine yesterday. Ive used Rush for three months and I’m really not pleased with my purchase of this program. I was about to render this video and now I have to recreate it.
Can you please help? What can a person do in the mobile application to remedy this issue?

I am getting the same error now on ios version of the app, Iphone 12 Pro Max. Trying to import image files from Icloud, which have been fully downlaoded.

I am suddenly getting this message now too. I have never seen it before, and now half of my pictures can’t be imported. They were all taken on the same Canon camera, imported into Lightroom as RAW images and edited, then saved as jpg on my camera roll. Some can be added in Premier Rush and some cannot. I am using an iPad Pro.

I have iPhone 8 Plus and am getting this problem with JPEG photos air dropped from my MacBook which were exported originally with photoshop. I’ve never had a problem previously until downloading rush today for a project :/

I’m still experiencing the same problem. Importing the same type of files from my camera roll on iPhone, and all the sudden “unsupported media type”. I even uninstalled and reinstalled app prior to coming here and still same result. HELP!!

Getting the same error working with MP4 clips exported from Premiere Pro on Mac Book Pro and transferred to iPhone 12Pro via AirDrop.
IOS version 14.2.1
Rush version 1.5.38.
(Ironically none of this seems very Pro)

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. IPHONE 12pro is the best phone camera on the market...
This has not been fixed. I am on latest version of Rush on and iphone12 pro and still get this error
W.R.T iPhone 12 HDR media, we're working as fast as we can to add support to the latest HDR format from Apple. For now, the solution is to disable HDR format in your device's Settings.
Open Settings > Camera > Record Video, then toggle off the switch next to "HDR Video."
We're sorry for this inconvenience. Please follow this post for updates
Can edit the video in iMovie but a 2 Minute video is over 1 Gig. I suspect the file size is the problem. Maybe the File size from the iPhone1 is too large ?
Still having this problem: just shot a video on iPone12Pro and when I try and open in Rush I get Unsupported format. My Rush is V 1.5.37(1018) and my phone is V14.1
