Enable access to iPhoto and improve Sync
I have just used iPad pro to prepare a rush video. Rush is a great concept and easy to use. However I had only prepared part of my video as i could not use it on the plane to continue my edit. I got home and went to my desktop version to finish it off. Well! I was amazed that I could not access my iPhoto videos from the desktop version (iOS Catalina on an iMac). Why is this! absolutely stupid that you can on one device but not the other! I do not have to expect to export my photos before using rush. Another issue is that the syncing did not work properly. On my desktop i received half of the video clips were red with an ! in the centre. It is very unclear which version is the latest version and that surely is the one that should be synced. Even after I completed my edit on the iPad Pro the desktop file shows the same red with !. I am not confident in the system to delete the version on the desktop as it may delete the same named one on the iPad.
The other issue I have is that I was expecting to be able to share the file easily after completion (like spark page can). This proved to be problematic and I wished it had been on the desktop version as a. quicker and b. does not take up so much space.
I am sorry to say that the developers/programmers need to look at this software from the other way round. ie from the users perspective NOT the tech teams perspective. The usability is not there and leaves a disappointing experience. I wish I had prepared my images in Final Cut Pro or Premiere as I did not see any great advantage of Rush on the iPad due to the limitations of editing and sharing.
