Set Still Image duration on import
It would be great to be able to set the duration for stills on import.

Yes! I'm not a pro, just trying to make some fun family videos incorporating some still images, and it really should be a simple, basic task to set the duration that the still image should be displayed in a video.

Ditto - this is a pretty basic requirement, please sort this out

If Rush had the media element feature that is in Audition stills could be separately identified, selected and modified as a group. Many options and solutions to keep Rush simple

I can't believe this isn't already done. This is a basic basic feature that even free still animation apps offer without having to ask for it. This post was started in 2019. So adding my voice here is obviously a waste of time as Adobe doesn't look at what people want.

I can't believe I have to "vote" for a feature in Rush that should already exist!
Shame on the Rush developers for being intentionally deaf to user input. -

I'm really astonished this functionality does not exist!

Please add this! Are we seriously waiting YEARS on such a simple feature?

Do they just have an AI autoresponder looking at this request? Like is the moderator human or not?
The question is simple. Will you pass along the request to add an option to set global duration on import of multiple clips? -

I have the same comment. We need a way to set the duration for ALL OF THE CLIPS AT ONCE.
It's astounding to me that the moderator here could not decipher this simple question, and instead indicates that they can be set one-by-one.
Wow.

petergaraway I see your comment below. How can we do this with multiple photos, say 100 photo still clips. It would be nice to set a global default setting at 1:00 sec or 3:00 sec if needed not the generic 2:14 that cannot change unless done manually. Can you imagine having to reset 100 photos one by one to 1 second each? If anything Adobe Rush needs this option. Please Advise. Thanks
petergaraway-Thanks for the feedback, David. I understand you would like the ability to set the duration on import but wanted to point out in case you or others are not aware, you can set a specific duration for a still or video by
1. Selecting the clip
2. Open the Speed Inspector
3. Enter a value in Clip Duration -

Hey petergaraway, why don't you acknowledge what people are asking for here? The ability to set the duration of many clips or stills at once. Not one by one.

With WFH time here, I got my 6yo to be creative, so she shot 118 frames of stop motion flawlessly from the iPad.
She was able to scroll through the camera roll and get the desired effect.
I thought taking her to Rush for editing and voice over would be easy, but i didn't find an easy way to import ALL shots in sequence at once AND to trim them to the right timing (+trial/error, we are not yet aardman).

I am so glad someone else has posted this idea. After importing 200 images to create a slideshow the thought of adjusting every single clip individually is terrible.
An option to choose the desired clip length before importing (like premiere pro) allowing you to decide before you even bring the images into the program. Or a way to select all of the clips and adjust the clip duration in mass quantities. -

2 seconds is way to fast... this needs to be adjustable.

There is no speed control option. So it can be set to how how long a photo show be display..

I try in english ...
I think it would be great to be able to set the default time of appearance of images rather than having to do everything 1 by 1 especially when there is a lot of photos!I have the impression that the default time of images is 2.5s, it would be nice to be able to put them all at 2s for example. On 100 photos we would easily win 50s! \ O /
To conclude, to be able to set the default time of images directly when they are imported into the sequence.

Create a software path for access to the default clip length setting on import. This will allow for the creation of animated movies with still images without the user having to edit the length of each clip.
