I found a workaround! It is a little slow, but if you click the little fullscreen icon next to a clip it opens that one in the panel a little bigger with the file name at the top.

WORKAROUND: I don't know if anyone has discussed this elsewhere, but if you use the "separate audio" tool, the audio clip will display the name of the original video file. This has gotten me out of a few tricky spots due to the lack of this much needed feature.

This is another simple yet must have feature for editing. We need a quick way to be able to identify a clip in the timeline, and media library, as they don’t seem to import in any discernible order, either by selection or file name, and the thumbnails often display differing images.

Ditto- I need to see the clip title. Right now I'm working with multiple clips and several were sent to me over wifi and came with low resolution. I need to get the original from the videographer and it is difficult when I can not see the clip title.

This would be great to have. I'm using Rush over Pro for really quick critiquing of assignments for a course I TA, but when I import all my clips I can't tell which is which because they all look identical. I have to delete them all from my timeline, then add the one-by-one with lower thirds so I know what I'm looking at.

Seems like a pretty essential feature to me. I have 20+ clips that I need to set in exact order and speed up to show a timelapse, yet after the clips are in the timeline there is **no way to see what file they come from**.

Adding the videos when starting a project sometimes messes up the order, which had just happened to me, and there was no way to order them properly. I had to delete everything and add one by one.

I import dozens of clips into the media manager and then order them in the timeline. It would be very helpful to be able to see the name of the source media file in the timeline so I can better keep track of which clips I have used and which is which. I appreciate the simplicity of Rush over regular Premiere, but little things like this keep me in Premiere even just for sorting and combining videos I've taken on my phone because Premier can do this and does it well.

After adding multiple selections of clips, it is difficult to intuitively observe the clip reference at the end of the timeline and determine which was the last clip you added when going to the plus (+) and add clips (video). I often have multiple clips that appear different and it would be nice if on a hover-over, it showed the clip title. Just for reference purposes. I know it shows much more detail in the PP CC edition, but this would be helpful when continuing to add clips on the fly.
