Copy and paste type!!
I would like to be able to copy and paste text on iOS from another app!
Hi all! Copy and Paste are now working correctly on iOS using the built-in or external keyboard.
Work is still being done on Android. If you want to add your vote, please do so here:
We also added support for additional keyboard shortcuts recently. You can see for the set here:

Copying text from another app and pasting into titles does NOT work. The only options that pop up are replace and delete. Please fix in the iOS app.

This is ridiculous. I just paid 30usd for this app to add subtitles and simple option of copy paste text is not working. Are you guys serious?

I don’t understand what you mean by 2 finger tap. This doesn’t seem to be working for me on my iPad. This is my use case - Rush on the left, and my script on the right, and I used to be able to copy-paste using my Bluetooth keyboard command-C and command-V. I desperately want to be able to do this again please!!!

Thank you for providing this forum. Although this issue is marked as resolved, it’s not resolved for me. Copy/paste seems to be disabled on the iPad. Is this accurate? If not, is there some way I can change this?

Peter, you're saying you have it on Android but not yet on iOS correct?
on iOS, when the keyboard is open, the paste options should be available above the keyboard. They are grayed out on this app.

Voting to have this feature on android as well.

Enable click and drag text from other apps with apple pencil, or copy/paste from the keyboard (iOS)
I confirmed we do allow you to copy and paste. It requires a two-finger tap gesture, that will show the copy/paste menu.
We're going to look into matching iOS behavior and not requiring a two-finger tap.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for writing in! I agree. Will bring this up with the team.
