Artifacts and glitches in exported video
Export artifact on iPhone XR.
I shot all my videos using the native camera app. 1080p, 60 fps, stereo audio. iPhone XR on ios 12.1.2.
The editing process and real-time playback are fine. But the exported video will have weird artifacts all over the place.
Sorry for anyone affected by this issue. We’re working hard to understanding the cause. At this point, we believe it may be caused by HEVC or what Apple calls “High efficiency” format.
For the time being, we recommend setting your iOS device format to “Most Compatible”. You make this change in Settings > Camera > Formats “Most Compatible.”
If you continue to see this issue using this format, please let us know. Again for the inconvenience. We will update this post once we know more.
Appreciate your patience.

Hey! I tried uploading my vid to YT and it said that google hasn’t verified this app. And I have no more free shares. The paying to share is also stupid they our our videos that we should be able to edit and share and we can always switch apps. Disappointed. Also make it so that after we edit our videos we have the option to send it straight to our photos. Pls accommodate these changes or I will post many posts that are argued towards people leaving because you guys don’t care. Thank you and have a good day.
We're still actively working on this problem. It would be helpful to know a few things are your device and media
1. What device and iOS version do you have?
2. What type of media is in your project? You can find this under OS Settings > Camera - Please share the following info
* Resolution and frame rate of your media
* Under Formats - Is High Efficiency or Most Compatible selected?
3. Are there any steps or anything done in the project to make the glitches consistently occur?
Thank you very much for the information and your patience as we work hard to resolve this.

Is this appearing in the same spot for others? Or is it an issue at different sequences for each export? I've tried exporting multiple times with it appearing at different points in each export.

I run a Youtube Channel with 120K plus followers and I work with premiere and my iphone. Lately all my videos have been messed up by this problem. It takes me hours to cut out all of the parts, where the problem appears. Now I chanded the settings to most compatible. I still can't believe how I pay nearly 1800 Euros for a phone and a monthly membership to adobe, for having such an issue. Really........
This issue is still being investigated. We're continuing to make this one of our top priorities.
We will update this post as soon as we have more information. We appreciate your patiance.

We also have this problem, we have changed the recording on iOS device format to "Most Compatible".
Unfortunately, it doesn't change anything....
Here’s a photo what it looks like.
I have the same issue on every sequence I’ve done It’s adding visual artifacts.
- No color filters
- Used drip black transitions (doesn’t happen on transitions though)
- iPhone 11 Max Pro
- Video is about 2-3 minutes
- Happens w/ or w/o audio being exported as well
- Leaving app open during export
I’m having the same problem.
I'm using the 3 free exports and I have used them all because every export has had a glitch. This is unfair and I should be able to get my exports back because I will be unable to use all 3 of my exported videos.
Rendering is slow and exported video is not good. Glitches and “green” clips flickering in the video. What gives?

On playbacks and exports certain clips show a glitch (quick scattering look). I can’t manage to get it to disappear.

I love the program. Amazing to see a video editing program on my phone, but I cant use it. Whenever I render a clip (I have an IPhone XS max) and sometimes when I play it back, I get this glitch in the footage rendering it useless to post or share. I have attached a video where it is clearly displays the glitch before the tree scene. Sorta looked cool here. Not in my other projects tho. It almost looks like a collide of two clips

I have that AND the video playback on new laptop jumps and stutters and REPLAYS a few seconds randomly but not the audio. I have an HP Omen with Nvidia Gefore GTX 6 gig graphic card and MY laptop Rush goes nuts with iPhone X video....but not on the Rush app. What???????
PS: Yes, I did turn off the High Efficiency and tried it again. Epic fail. :(
Sorry, you're hitting these issues on export. I haven't seen this myself. Can answer the following
1. Did you add any color filters or manually change color settings to your clips?
2. Are you using the default export setting?
3. Can you send a screen grab or recording of the issue?
Thanks for the report. This glitch on export should definitely not be happening. Can you please give some additional details so we can investigate this issue? This info would be really helpful
1. What version of Rush 1.0 or 1.0.1?
2. What device and iOS version
3. Does the glitch appear in the timeline before export?
4. Does the glitch appear in the file saved to the camera roll or only to the YouTube video
5. What export preset was used?
Also, if you can include a screen recording or screen grab of the issue I'd love to see it.
Considering Adobe Rush is the only iPhone app on the market at this moment capable of stacking a video on top of a video, one would assume that the process would be somewhat capitalized, but this is not the case :/. Exporting any layered videos gives a grievous flashing effect that ruins the video. let’s fix that
