increase length of picture
It would be so helpful in rush to be able to increase the length of time the static picture would increase or decrease to by grabbing the left or right handles (missing from a picture, but available in a video on the timeline. You can duplicate them over and over but that is not a good option.
I haven’t noticed feedback for about a year. I hope that means all is working well. If you have any questions please reach out to us here

This was very useful: "Sometimes the yellow trim handles are not visible if you're zoomed out too far on the timeline. You can use the navigation bar underneath the timeline to zoom in or use the + key on the keyboard."
Thanks very much!
Make sure you long press on the clip, once you see it pop up then you should be able to drag it. Sometimes it can be difficult to move if you're not zoomed in enough on the timeline.
Let us know if you're still having trouble.

i can't move a static picture around in timeline. why?

Does this help?
First, what I'm trying to do is put up a static picture for the whole length of a song. If I bring in the song first, then add the picture, it seems like it is trying to associate the picture with the song when I select. If I move the audio out of the way, then grab the picture and move it to a different track/line, I can adjust it, but if I don't do that I can't.
I can't extend the length of pictures either. I'm on windows 10 x64, I see the comment down below saying I can select and drag the yellow handle to the right. I don't see the yellow handle when I select. I can duplicate multiple times, but I don't like that option. It gives the jpg a default length of 2 seconds, and I can't seem to change it.

The issues still exist in Rush. I will send you the files and I simply put together a simple project (not the screen capture - notice in it the border is thinner than when the borders can be adjusted). Do not use the screen capture with text on it. just the video, still picture and mp3 sound file.
At times the sound will not be heard and at other times it will - this behavior is not consistent. At times the still picture is adjustable and other times it is not. use the three files together and weird things happen mentioned above.

I tried doing that and it would not extend it last Sunday and quit using it because of that and used the premiere pro program to get my project finished. I will try it again now. Another frustration is that when you look at your hard drive you see folders with names (can't see the whole name) when your going to add a folder to your project. It would be nice if you could have a windows explorer type view (such as details or list) to find your folders easily. If the name was visible, that would help. Maybe I should have entered this thought into a new comment. I will get back on the main question here after retesting again.
Thanks for trying out Rush! You can extend and shorten the duration of still files the same way you can do it on video files. On still images, there's no limit to how long you can extend the duration. Select the still image in the timeline and drag the yellow handle to the right. Continue to drag until it reaches the desired duration.
If this is not working for you, please let us know.
