Drag and drop video file to create a new project (instead of having to navigate to the folder first)
In Premier Pro, I like the fact that you can drag and drop a video file (at the resolution you wish the sequence to be) into the timeline to start. Rush requires navigating the the folder with the video file(s) which is slower than drag and drop.

I can't navigate to my company's file server from within the program, which means I have to first move the files to a local destination. This is just ridiculous!

No drag and drop, making us navigate through giant icons of folders, not integration of the quick links we use in Finder windows - why are you doing this to us?

On windows, It is very time consuming to dig through folders to find the video I want to work on instead of just dragging in a video to create a project.

Navigating folders is not efficient on desktop.
A workaround is to start a project with whatever media happens to be in the media browser, then delete it and drag-drop the real media
I thought it has this function by default, then I realized that they missed this critical function.
However, I like its simplicity.
After posting this request, I realized that Rush is being targeted towards TABLET users (who cannot do drag and drop as easily) so maybe another option would be to allow toggling between folder view and list view when navigating to the file. If possible, it would still be nice to have a drag and drop option (which would work GREAT on the desktop version, even if it does not on the TABLET version).
