Change settings of multiple clips at once
I noticed you cannot change multiple clips at once. So if you select more clips, the functions af color and bar does not work. It is called rush so you want to paste a filter on multiple clips and not one by one.

Like many of you, I have RELUCTANTLY, opted for the pricey competition due to lack of being able to edit (speed) multiple files at once. I normally record much of my raw footage through high quality video surveillance systems (fixed cameras, multiple views and I don't have worry about starting and stopping), as the system saves in 10 minutes chunks and I do many time lapse videos, I work with a couple hundred clips on a single project on a regular basis. Clicking on each, one at a time, to change the speed? Really? Seems like a standard function. Please. Let me know when you have this functionality available. I otherwise love this product but am hamstrung without this important basic capability.

_Please_ allow editing multiple clips at once. Either by selecting them, then applying the edit. Or copying the edit, and pasting it, or by "same as previous" (like in Lightroom Classic). Or some other method.
But essentially allow it.
Having to apply a different crop to several hundred clips (because I made a mistake in the beginning :-( and didn't notice) is beyond tedious...

Please insert a tool to match properties. Or make it easier to edit more than one frame after cut the whole video.
I love this request! I'm working on pushing it forward. Appreciate the feedback.

Please add the ability to choose several photos in the timeline at once and then change the speed of those clips to facilitate stop motion animation. Currently, I can choose several frames/photos at once but have to change the speed individually.

True, also for the clips time length, as if we want to do a clip from pictures, you should be able to select them all and past the time length from a previous copy setting.

I use iMovie and need something with more functionality. I do a lot of photo videos, not having this ability is a non-starter. I just downloaded Rush and now I find I will probably never use it.

What a horrific lack of functionality. I was considering subscribing, but just tossed that idea out the window. Time to go shopping at the competition.

when multiple clips are selected, the only thing you can do with them is choose the transition. you cannot transform, change color, speed so all clips have same settings.
you can edit multiple clips at once in iMovie.
Rush's only advantage over iMovie is more video tracks

Please allow us to edit all clips at once!! So time consuming and counter-productive having to select each clip to change the speed. Such a basic thing every user needs to be able to do.

Edit Multiple Clips at once for things like stop frame animations

just started using this program and this is something i assumed was available. I made hundreds of clips in my video and now i have to go one by one to add filter presets to all clips... :/

Definitely need the ability to edit the proportions, position, speed, orientation and duration of multiple clips at once.
This would be great! When importing photos for a stop-motion sequence and then switching to portrait mode all the images are scaled down and it is a very tedious process to scale each one of them up.
Attached our photos showing this process.

This feature is much needed. I work with 20+ clips per video that all need to be rotated and sped up equally, and doing it one by one is like... the year is 2020 folks, who does things one by one anymore?
I can deal with color correction presets, but the transform and speed really should be working when multiple clips are selected.

You should also be able to change the 'default' settings for clip duration. So when you copy photos into the timeline they are at the desired length without having to edit them manually (and currently this has to be done individually?!?)

There is no way to copy the settings of a clip and paste it in the other clips
Any feature that's able to be carried over to your other clips and apply all. For example. You import a single landscape video. You cut it into 3 clips. You end up modifying one clip by muting adio, changing to portrait, adjusting x and y position, scaled it to fit frame, adding color filter. At this point you want to do the same for each of the remaining 2 clips. You don't want to do it 2 more times. You want a simple press and hold your clip and copy features then select any clip you want to modify then press apply. You should also have option to apply all to quickly apply all these features to all your clips within your timeline.

This would of course also go with picking a few audio corrections, like DeNoise for every clip.
I know Rush is supposed to be easier than Premiere Pro, but there, I LOVED the main clip concept where you can alter a clip everywhere, even after it's been edited, cut and parted all along the sequence.
