Option to delete clip from timeline
There's no option to delete a clip once it is added on the timeline. It is one of the basic requirements and i'm surprised how it was not included.
Thanks for your feedback.
You can delete a clip from the timeline by long-pressing (mobile) or right-clicking (Desktop) and selecting Delete Clip from the context menu or selecting the trashcan icon.

FYI. I noticed that the delete buttons (and menu options) are all grayed out if you include sample media in your project. If you start a new project with your own media, then the delete options are available.
Is there any way to delete a clip from the timeline on a desk top computer? The option is not visible on desktop, but is visible on mobile devices.
@Jakub. The trashcan is greyed out and nothing makes it work.
I have the same problem on my macbook air. Cant delete my selection?!?

When the clip in the timeline is selected the trashcan icon is greyed-out, so deleting isn’t possible.
A long press on the clip gives two options: “Duplicate” and “Expand Audio”. (iPad running iOS 12.1)
In addition there seems to be NO documentation in the user manual in the editing section on deleting clips.

You can delete a clip by tapping on the trashcan icon:
• On iPhone just scroll the bottom toolbar to get to it—you'll find it on the far right
• On iPad and desktop you can find it in the bottom left
