Can I capture and extract a still frame out of a video in Rush?

Would be great if users could export stills from video captured instead filming and editing clips then doing the same for photos. I am sure a lot users will appreciate that feature on adobe rush

Allow for a feature where you can pause the clip/video at a certain frame and export that singular frame, saved to photos. This is to allow the use of thumbnails for posting videos online, or simply to import the frame back into the timeline to allow for a "freeze frame" solution. This is also amazing for that "I need a new profile picture, but I suck at taking photos. This frame from my video captures my beauty perfectly though!"

Very surprised this is not a given function as well. So basic. It is necessary and super frustrating that the software can't do this. Any update on if/when this will be prioritized?
This is such a basic function that really should have been thought of already. Your missing something basic that most, if not all, free programs have.

This is so basic! I need it not just for thumbnails but also in order to freeze a frame. I want a frozen frame under a title for about 3 seconds. The Speed gadget only lets me stretch a frame by a factor of 10, so less than 1/2 second at 24 fps. The only way I've figured out to do that is to duplicate the stretched frame 6-8 times which is a real kluge.

I'd like to create a still photo from a footage to share with some friends. ...seems a basic function Rush should be able to do...?

should be able to capture single image from video footage in adobe rush

If this app was designed specifically to edit for online sharing then it seems only natural that you would have a way to export a single frame for creating a thumbnail. C'mon Adobe.

Please make the snapshot functionality in Rush so we can export single frames so we can make thumbnails. Thank you!!
The ability to capture and export still frames from a movie would be a big plus. I tend to shoot GoPro video to get still images. I can use PremierPro to do this, but it would be so much easier to do it on my iPad.
Frame drop seems to be a problem when editing higher resolution videos (I’m using an iPad Pro). Having an option to change the preview resolution either manually or automatically would be great.
