Support iOS Files
There is no option to add media from the new Files app in iOS. It doesn’t even show up as an option - only Dropbox. Why? Ths is a serious flaw.
Last week we released Rush version 1.5.12, which includes many great updates, including iOS Files support! Now you can import media from the Files app directly from the media browser in Rush.

Yes. Would love to use Premiere Rush but can’t work out how to import audio copied through my files app in ios13.

On IPhone, it would be great if you could access your media through the files - Instead of going through other apps like Dropbox to connect

I would love to be able to add music files that I have made from iCloud files folder and be able to slow and speed up and possibly reverse the audio

Guys, this is currently in Beta. please try to remember that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes and that Adobe are working on bringing this to a full roll-out at some point.

Please do this please. This is a big problem that it is not a capability yet.

Hi. I just switched to iOS & premiere rush from android & premiere clip and am kinda shocked at this lack of functionality. Please add this ASAP. In the meantime, are there any work arounds?
Thanks for the feedback John and Pete! Adding iOS Files support should make this workflow pretty seamless. I've merged this thread to the existing request.
Thanks for the feedback, David. We know this iOS Files support is very important. I've added your request to the existing thread.

Please allow us to pull video and audio files from Files on iPad Pro! Right now that one key feature renders this app useless for me. :(

I record external audio on an H6 and us an SD card using the Lighting to SD interface. I can initially import these files on creation of a project, but not once I’m in a project. So strange! So annoying. This is not ready for a professional setup, let alone a hobbyists.

Need to be able to access my voice recordings on iOS device without uploading to the cloud services. Give access to ICloud Drive files.

If Apple Files was included in Premiere Rush, I would be able to import from USB drives and Synology SMB connections. It would be a big plus for me and is my most-wanted feature right now.
Please add a simple way of adding music to the project and needs better intergration with the files app on ios
Now that we can connect hard drives to iPads, I would love to be able to import videos from a hard drive onto a iPad rush file.

I wouldn't say it's a serious flaw but it would definitely open up some much better workflow options with iOS 13 Files supporting USB files

All the operating system file in/out-options must be available. And I also would like Premiere Rush to connect directly to cameras, so users can access files as easy as possible. Imagine if you could stream content directly to Rush! :-)
iPhone user. Downloaded a track via Filer.
Sent it to Dropbox successfully.
Rush app gave me a prompt when I tried to import/download it, all this to download a track that was originally on my phone within an app AND THE Files app.
Just ended up using another editing app with a better level of accessibility

This would make the workflow so much better. Right now when importing external files I have to import them into Creative Cloud first, then wait, and then reload the project.

I would like to have the opportunity to use the inbuilt Files app on IOS to be able to import export media. This would make cross Device file transfers much easier. You should be able to do it in a little pop up window that comes up when required by other apps.
