Reverse a clip
In line with changing the speed, it would also be nice to be able to reverse a clip so it played backward.

Seems like no one at Adobe is reading these important Uservoice posts.Disappointing. Maybe we need to post elsewhere.

On my phone I'm using KineMaster... for many years... since before Rush.
Once I wanted to install Rush on my flagship Huawei P20 Pro in '19.. it said that it's not comptible... WHAT?! :D :D :D
Other once I tried it on my desktop... it was a PoS... ;) :D Even the Win10 built in VideoEditor is more usable! :D uninstalled... about a year later I tried it again... still the same PoS... :( uninstalled... If one need a good and free video editor I recomment http://Shotcut.org on desktop (Win/Mac/Linux)...
On my phone I'm still using KineMaster when I need it, and I love it. :) -

@ B D nice idea, thanks for the alternatives!
I returned to Apple because I have an old laptop and their video tool is free, and even if it is very old, it is still much better than Adobe's useless tool with a useless support -

KineMaster is absolutely wonderful.

Since Adobe hasn't been able allocate developers in 3+ years since this question was asked, let's turn this into a thread about better Rush alternatives.
=======================================
ALTERNATIVES (already suggested)
- Kinemaster
- LumaFusion

Hahaha, its so funny to see people doing the exact thing! I switched to Kinemaster and have not regretted it at all. It has soooo many better features and hasn't crashed once on me, unlike Rush where I would have to restart over and over due to instability and crashes.

I also commented on this thread once a while ago. I have since switched to LumaFusion and InShot for mobile video editing. Unfortunately, following this thread now only serves the purpose of entertainment for me.

I've recently moved to Wondershare Filmora X. It's everything I wanted Rush to be and more. I recommend

Happy new year guys. Since it is, in fact, a new year... I think it's time to move on from Rush as it's clear that Adobe really does not care about its users at all. Here's to finding a good Rush alternative in 2022 :D

By far the most voted for request! Please do something Adobe. Love rush and this missing feature is a huge letdown

😂 @Ryan
I gave up on Rush and switched to LumaFusion because they’ve implemented this feature (and it’s Soooooo helpful!)

Eric Windsor commented
Ok Ryan, that got me lol
Definitely shout out to all of you that get an email each time a comment is made. I feel that!
We're in this together-ish.

I'm in the hospital, thanks to Adobe. I fell down a flight of stairs while trying to walk down them backwards, because a reverse feature was not available in Premiere Rush. Leg, broken. Face, horribly disfigured. Faith in Adobe to provide critical features in a timely manner – that tank is empty.
*this is satirical*
*shoutout to all my homies who get these emails whenever a new comment is added*
*I like it because it makes me look like I'm doing work at my job even though it's just uservoice spam* -

I use the app capcut now to reverse video, this has taken way too long to get to the rush app
