Separate audio/video tracks
Please make it so I can separate out audio tracks from the video tracks and move them around independently.
Hi all! We’re starting the year off right by bringing you Separate Audio on all platforms.
With the release of Rush 1.5, you can now Separate Audio by right-clicking (desktop) or long-pressing (mobile) on a video clip with audio in the timeline and selecting Separate Audio. This will create an audio-only clip that you can move around independently.
You should see Rush 1.5 appear in the AppStore, Playstore, and Creative Cloud app starting today and into tomorrow.
We can’t wait to see how you use this feature in your projects!

I’d like to detach the audio because rush causes audio lag on my video when I export. I’m on the trial so I have to re export and hope it works.
Make it possible to save audio file only.
Fine for fast Podcast editing or save to insert for later Rush project.
Or when you have a poor video but important sound track.
I believe he means simple manipulation of the audio separate from the video. such as being able to unlink the audio from the video then lock the audio/video timelines independently.then split, trim, volume adjust, move, etc the audio. I see no reason they can't implement a crude addition to allow basic audio manipulation cheaply and quickly. I use rush but it's lacking this extremely important feature making it infuriating to use. having to export and put it in another program then export it and back into rush is problematic to say the least. other than lacking critical features it's a awesome program which it why I still use despite it's HUGE flaw.
If I have a section of video I am unhappy with but want to keep the audion continuous I want to be able to delete the video clip and replace it with video of equal length while keeping the audio continuous

Totally agree without this feature Premiere Rush is a very very limited program to use. Hopefully future updates will change this
I've just started using Adobe Rush and it is great for short, online videos that I use for my program. However, not being able to separate out audio from video is a real deficiency. I support everyone else's call for this feature to be added. Also, if this feature were to be added, what would be the ETA? I'd like to continue to use Rush and not resort to Premiere Pro.
That would be a nice feature, specially when you have a long still image and want to keep the audio while cropping or inserting other videos
Wait, you can’t pull just audio from a video clip to use as a separate file? I’ve been working with this clip all night, trying to figure out how to pull the audio. I do video casts and podcasts and absolutely need to be able to pull the audio from my video casts to create a podcast file. Is this really not possible? That’s seems crazy for such an expensive program. Please say it isn’t so.
Yes, we would like to delete the video portion because we are extracting audio sometimes from narrations done outside of the app.
Yes, I want to use the audio but to put another VDO on it

Without the ability to detach audio, the program is unusable. Extremely basic editing function and critical for any use of interview or longer talking clips. Best of luck... please advise when this feature is added.

i want to detach audio from video and use it in another video and want to remove the deatched audio video clip i just need music but as ios user cant download thatswhy recorded music now idk how to seprate audio and video from rush
Only started using Rush 20 minutes ago. You can't separate audio from video tracks in a clip? You can't have the video track transition to another while delaying the audio track transition so it crosses over a few seconds later? It's not just an ALT-select shortcut?

I'd like to trim and slide audio before an edit.

I would love to be able to use the audio with different video clips.

Is there any update on this feature?
Any ETA on this "feature"?
Can you be able to take a video file and extract the audio to make two different files one of video and one of audio

Having the ability to detach the audio is a basic editing feature. Please fix.
