So what?

I want to see a variety of Social Media Lower Thirds Titles in more designs for us YouTubers with different Social Media Channels. I spent $40 USD to try Envato Elements for 1 month and it is so complicated to download AE templates and then figure out how to get them imported into Rush. I just gave up trying to learn.

Support .MOGRT files created in After Effects.
This seems like a basic function. I have created a huge library of motion templates for a client who uses them in Premiere but also expects to use them in Rush. Is my only option to re-create all of my animations in Premiere and then export a new .mogrt from Premiere? A lot of the animations I have created in After Effects will not be able to be made in Premiere.

For social media we need .mogrt templates from AE! We cannot use it without it!

thanks @JamesStrawn - but any update on when we can expect to export from After Effects? that's what we're all REALLY waiting for.

Update on a previous post from about a year ago:
Current Stock contributor guidelines for Rush mogrts are here: https://spark.adobe.com/page/Miq15TP5W61mV/ -

This would be a huge improvment, please add support for Mogrts made in After Effects.

+1 support for this feature. It is currently prohibiting us from allowing bigger teams to contribute to making quick videos using Rush and so we have to rely on individuals trained in AE and Pr.
If we could get this feature, plus the ability to import Adobe Stock video into Rush, then your stock business would be booming ;)

MOGRTs are needed!

Allowing the templates made in After Effects to be used in Rush. Creating them in Premiere for colleagues is hard work and doesn't allow all the functions that people want.

Any change on the status of this? We have lots of AE mogrts and Premier Mogrts that if we could get them into Rush would really enable a lot of our team to do better quality work quicker. As per david's comments we have lots of teams chomping at the bits to get this functionality. Otherwise we have to train (& maintain) lots of people to use AE and Premiere Pro which is not really sustainable at scale. -

@BenSmith
your previous comments related to MOGRTs created in AE for Rush are 5 months old. any updates on how development is progressing? in the broadcast environment there are lots of design teams chomping at the bit for this functionality. -

The help for Rush needs fixing as it says you can use AE templates: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/help/add-titles-rush.html - near bottom under "Create Titles"
Adding AE mogrts would be really useful!

The ability to create the "Rush" MOGRT files by adobe After effects would be great. Or a possibility to convert an excisting MOGRT to a "rush" MOGRT. I know not easy because you maybe need to implement more to support more graphics and options.
We like to see our journalist using the same MOGRT on Adobe rush as the editors in the house at VRT. That would be on a workflow /ecos system a big benefit.

As the others have commented, this is a great organizational need. getting our social media team the ability to incorporate our branding elements into their videos is essential and Rush has so much potential for this. The AE mogrts are so much more robust

@BenSmith
Thanks for clarifying this. We have a lot of people we want to get using Rush and supply them with mogrts we are using in our Production workflow. This would be a major plus for us if you could do this as we have a lot of mogrts we use across our organisation.
PS. You might want to tell you your marketing team to say that they only support PPro mogrt's as this is not clear from the messaging. -
Right now, MOGRTs created in AE won't be compatible with Rush. There is currently a bug where this flow is not prevented, and doesn't do anything within Rush. The only workaround is to make your edits in AE and export a video which can then be imported into Rush as a simple (un-editable) clip.
When exporting a MOGRT in the latest version of Premiere Pro, please make sure the check the box "Warn me if this Motion Graphics template is not compatible with Premiere Rush" to make sure you're not utilizing any effects not supported in Rush. For best results (for 1.0), limit yourself to basic transforms, and avoid the Effects Control Panel.
For MOGRT authoring compatibility from Adobe Stock, please refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/in/rush/kb/stock-compatibility-mogrt.html.
We are aware of the desire to work with more advanced MOGRTs in Rush, so please continue to chime in here with how you believe this can be improved.

What determines compatibility? I've tried the simplest AE created mogrts and they still don't show up. Can anything actually be imported yet? Or is it a button that does nothing?

I also tried to install my custom template from AE. Does not show up in list. Works super in Premiere.
