Rush didn’t leave me feeling warm and fuzzy as I worked my video
I ran the verson for the mac on a one year old Macbook Pro, which was maxed out when I purchased it. Rush behaves sluggish, doesnt like to build thumbnails of directories with ms or videos. It instead goes blank and Mac reports the app has hung. If you wait though, it eventually resonds. There isnt an aparent way to save the project as you work, leaving me to feel l might loose my work and have to start over. I believe there is some bloat that neeeds working out, many an app on the Ipad behave better. I know…

Make Preview picture size the same for each HD project
I created two HD videos. One had a full size preview, the other had a much smaller preview. It would be better if they were always full size.

RED SCREEN
The preview of some clips becomes red randomly. I seems to only happen on clips made from my iPhone 8 OR clips that are longer.
All software is up to date.
I noticed that when I disconnected the Adobe Cloud sync, the red screen issue disappeared briefly.

Swipe down to Cut at Playhead
I want to be able to simply move my finger vertically down on the timeline to split a clip. Same function as the scissors icon but simpler.

Swipe Left or Right to scroll on Timeline
One of the useful features of iMovie is the ability to scroll the timeline by moving your finger left or right on the video image. Tapping the image stops playback.
Very useful for choosing a cut point.

Add video at play head.
I want to be able to stop anywhere on the timeline and have the ability to add media at that point.
Currently if I choose a new shot it adds it at the next cut point or puts it on the end of the timeline. I end up having to then move the clip to where I want it.
It would be much better to have options when adding media such as:
Insert audio / video at playhead
Overwrite audio / video at playhead
Add video on Video Layer 2 / 3 at playhead
Add audio only at playhead
Thanks.

Quickly review edit
It would be great to have a shortcut to quickly review the most recent cut – by going back 1 or 2 seconds before the edit and hitting play.
This would drastically speed up editing time, as I wouldn't have to keep clicking a few seconds before the most recent edit to review it.

Big Play Button or better yet finger gesture for play
Pretty much the most issued command is simply play.
This needs to be way easier than hitting that small triangle button everytime.
Two finger tap Right on the Timeline or whatever, you get the idea.1 vote -

The first video clip links to the first audio clip. Cannot unlink or move video track to another track.
I can't move the first video clip to another track when the first audio clip is linked to it. I wanted the video clip to be 'on top' of the other clips (ie, an image on top of a background).
If I try to delete the video track and add it again, it deletes the separate audio clip as well. I had to delete all clips and re-add them to the timeline manually in the right order.
The linking is not a bad idea for sync reasons (looks like you got it from Final Cut Pro), but just needs an…

mouse wheel zooming is off-center
When using ALT+Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out on an area of the timeline, the expected behavior is to zoom where the mouse cursor is currently pointed (at least, this is how it worked when I used Premiere Pro). However, Rush zooms too far to the right of the mouse cursor.
I find I have to compensate by pointing the mouse cursor far left of where I want to actually zoom.See screenshot for illustration: If I want to mouse-wheel zoom in on the blue timeline cursor, I have put my mouse where the mouse cursor is in the…

Destination Track
On IOS, I would like to be able to choose which video track the shot is added to. This way I can build a sequence of cutaways over an interview for example. The interview would be on V1 track, cutaways added to V2 track.
Would also be really useful to be able to add just the audio from a clip.

Preset Geometry
To be able to make any adjustments to the geometry of the clip a pre-set - for instance, if you add the letterbox effect manually to one clip, being able to do it for all clips would be helpful.

Replace footage
I'd like an easy way to replace footage. E.g. right-click footage on the timeline, choose "replace" or "relink" or something similar. And then choose a different video. Afterwards a message could appear that asks me whether I want to retain the current timeline timings, avoiding that the rest of the timeline moves if I place a longer/shorter clip. Or if I want to place the new footage as is, resulting in the total timeline growing or shrinking.

Editing
I’d love to see a split or cut option so that I can go to a part in a clip and cut the bit I want to use.
I would also like to see the ability to go to a clip in my project and set in and out points before adding it to the timeline.
