Option to use mogrts like footage as opposed to "installing" them
I'll admit it, I know how powerful mogrts are, but I still keep using dynamic link instead. I find it cumbersome to "install" mogrts and then deal with multiple revisions of the same animation in my library when I really needed the template for just one or two projects. I'd much rather treat them like footage that's stored with the rest of my project where I can update and replace the template and have it update in my Premiere project.
Alternatively, if we could have the same access to properties of mogrts in Premiere with dynamically linked original AE project files, I'd be quite happy with that as well!
Gus, thanks for your comment. I think I need a little more info to understand what happened. When you say both users installed a mogrt, do you mean both users added a mogrt from the Essential Graphics panel to the timeline and then both shared their changes? How did you replace the wrong aegraphic with the correct one?
Heiko, thanks for posting your request on uservoice. I’m a Quality Engineer on the Motion Graphics Team :).
I’d be interested in learning why you need to install mogrts as opposed to just exporting them from Ae to a library or the Local Templates folder so you can use them right away in Premiere Pro?
Did you know this? If you need to update an aegraphic in your timeline with a new version of your mogrt you can replace all instances by dragging the new mogrt onto one of the aegraphics while holding down opt/alt.
To your alternative request: There are no plans to add properties for Premiere editors to After Effects Dynamic Link comps.

We had a situation/problem last year where a mogrt was installed twice by two editors on a Team project before the project got "merged". We discovered the 'installation' workflow was flawed when the mogrt was edited, then replaced, but only a few of the mogrts in the timeline were updated.
So YES, please somehow make mogrt workflow a 'contained file' like .mov .psd .ai , etc
