Unify Keyboard Shortcuts Across Platforms
I am a Motion Designer, Video and Podcast Editor. This means I work with After Effects (AE), Premiere Pro (PP) and Audition (Au) in combination.
When I spend a chunk of time working within one programme for a project, like After Effects, then switch to another programme like Audition, my muscle memory is used to a certain set of keyboard shortcuts, for example;
in AE & PP: ALT+Mouse scroll = zoom timeline BUT CTRL+Mouse scroll = scroll timeline (vertically)
in Au: ALT+Mouse scroll = expand tracks BUT CTRL+Mouse scroll = zoom timeline
There are plenty of other examples for keyboard shortcuts that exist across the programmes, which do different things. It would be great if all shortcuts could be unified across the Adobe programmes.
Sure, some of these keyboard shortcuts can be customised, but that doesn't really fix the problem in my opinion. If I watch a tutorial and the teacher is pointing out a shortcut, I need to remember that I have changed that shortcut, which is the main reason why I don't change the default shortcuts unless there isn't one assigned.
I would prefer, if I could go into each Adobe product and confidently use the same shortcuts that already exist in another product and it would be executing the same function.

Indeed, I never understood why there were KBSC sets for Avid or FCP users in PP, but never for AE users, and vice-versa...

Each of the programs come with a Keyboard Shortcut Editor where you can customize and re-assign the keyboard shortcuts to line up across all your apps in the way that makes the most sense to your workflow.
This gets saved as a custom preference file as well so its non-destructive to the original settings if you ever need to revert.

Super frustrating indeed! Scaling proportionally with holding down shift in PS vs. *with* shift is another incompatibility like this.

As a relatively new user of Adobe products, the lack of consistency between them is frustrating.
Many of the key commands also have no matching menu item, so discovering them is unlikely. With consistency at least I'd have a better chance of finding them between the products.
I understand the problem of backwards compatibility, but I'd at least like the option of "Unified Interface" between the products.
