List of checkboxes for Essential graphics where only one can be on at a time
When making Motion Graphics Templates out of After Effects to be used in Premiere, it would be super useful to be able to make a list of checkboxes where only one can be on at a time, for instance if the user needs to choose 1 of 4 layouts. It is quite a clumsy template, and confusing for the end user, when all the options can be on or off.

@bronwynlewis, thanks for responding so promptly! Yes that is correct - I'd like the user to only be able to choose one option at a time, from a list of options.
As you suggested, I did trial a slider ranging from 1-4 with each number representing a layout, but found it messy: the slider interface doesn't stop on each whole number, and I then have to explain in separate comments what each number does and means. At least with checkboxes the user can see what they are turning on (ie, 1-line layout, 2-line layout etc). But the problem is that the user can turn all 4 on at once.
A radio button or drop down menu would be fabulous - either would make the choice exclusive which would neaten up our templates and make the experience more intuitive for the end-users.
Thankyou!

Thanks for taking the time to share your idea. So I understand your use case correctly: You are designing templates that can have different layouts or treatments, and you want them to be limited to one of these choices/layouts, instead of being able to turn them on simultaneously?
You can do this currently with a slider ,where the different options for layouts or treatments are the stops on the slider (ex: If you have a lower third that can left, right, or center aligned, you could create a slider with 3 stops for Left, Center, or Right).
It sounds like you'd like something more like a radio button or a drop down where the choice is exclusive? Let us know what your ideal solution would be!
