Essential Graphics- add ability to swap precomps in a drop down menu
I make a lot of graphics package templates for editors, and as excited as I am about Essential Graphics, there appears to be a major thing missing in my opinion.
Often we make title cards that contain text and a brand icon. The current set up for EG doesn't allow you to switch out something like an icon (which is usually a precomp in my set ups).
Ideally you could add in a precomp or layer to the EG panel, and in the form of a drop down menu, you could select several other comps or assets (stills, video, whatever) that it could be swapped out for in Premiere.
So let's say I have "icon 1" in my EG panel. Under a dropdown I could specify to swap "icon 1" for "icon 2", "icon 3", etc. The user could define which items the original file could be swapped for.
Most of these title cards are super simple and would be perfect to be made into an EG template for Premiere, but until there's a way to change out images/footage/precomps in a template, I'm stuck doing these simple tasks in AE instead of passing it off to an editor.

We've also added the ability to swap out logos, images, and video in Mogrts with a feature called Media Replacement https://youtu.be/r2anF8xLDH4

Were you ever able to figure this out? I've been searching the web since they added drop-downs trying to see if someone has figured this out yet. This was all I was able to find. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZAkJj8eo7Y
