Please make values in essential Graphics keyable withing after effects.

I often use a UI template I made for games where I can easily change and animate values or aprts of the UI from a central object through expression controls. The problem is that if I paste the contents of the UI comp into the comp where it's used, it's adding alot of objects into a composition that already contains many layers. So it would be much neater to be able to drop the UI comp and animate it through the essential Graphics window. I hope that makes somewhat sense and is not too rambly :-)
