Bounding Boxes for X, Y & Scale
I read two other ideas similar, but I think it comes down to bounding boxes, ala Photoshop, with Cmd and Option changing the box points' functions (skew, etc) as in PS. Instead of clicking a layer as in PS, you click the element in the timeline, and its box appears. Including cameras.
Much more intuitive and fun to use. For CH, I think it would be more intuitive than in PS where you might have 100 layers.
Related to this, if cameras can't get a bounding box, allowing the mouse/touch controls to affect X & Y coordinates to establish keyframed…

"Reset Ground" Option
Instead of using X and Y to re-establish where the ground is, it would be nice to drag the puppet precisely where you want, then click a "Reset Ground" button. An option to scale according to the ground would be useful, in other words the puppet's size changes without the feet leaving their position.
If there's already a keyboard shortcut for this, let me know.

Can we have a view toggle to allow us to see Dragger handles?
I like using Dragger behaviors. Something intuitive about being able to move a limb exactly where I want it. Sure, I can get bad results if I overly rely on it, but it can help when layered atop other behaviors doing simple fixes.
But sometimes when I'm trying to pose the character just right, I get lost in where the dragger handles actually are and end up grabbing the wrong one. It's not like I can go back if I'm having to handle multiple handles at once, meaning I have to start all over.
It'd be nice if there was…

Hold position of draggers when puppet is armed
I find it very frustrating when wanting to add more detail to arm motions for example that I can't see the previous position I'd recorded without un arming the puppet.
For example, if I want to create a simple wave motion and have set a basic position for the arm but then want to add some extra motion to it, I struggle to match the original position to then add the extra piece of motion.
The only way I can see the original position is to unarm the puppet - hold the position in my mind, arm the puppet, and…

Smooth over parts of a body recording
You know what would be cool? I'm using the body recorder for full body recordings, and it works pretty well. Well, aside from the glitches where the body decides to become a foot taller for a second or two or the head decides to stick to one spot while the rest of the body moves as expected. Well, it'd be cool to maybe have an option to smooth over parts of a body recording between a couple frames, or have it be like another recording where you could use the blend-in and blend-out sides. It would basically take the body…

Adding "Record 1-Take Frame" to Body Behavior
The Body behavior is great, but I'd rather be able to use it for recording one frame takes like I'm used to. You could add that in, by allowing a 1-Take Frame recording to have a 5 second countdown (or have it linked to the Body Behavior countdown when that behavior is armed). That would allow for those of us who don't want to try and fix bad spots in a body recording by recording a specific pose real quick and allow us to stretch that pose to however long we need it for.
Also, being able to point the…

Cut and Paste Scenes
You should be able to simply COPY the assets on a scene and PASTE into another.
Or simply DUPLICATE A SCENE!

Some sort of 'TakeMaker' panel
Inserts a take of x length with blend in/out of x frames. Ability to adjust the length of take and number of blend frames in a panel. Similar to 'record take from work area' but without the looping.

Camera not fully supported
I have issue in my character animator, I am using surface book 3 as my production device. But when I installed character animator, It says :

An option to record in 1.25x, 1.50x, 2x or faster. Same for the playing.
I currently have 6+ hours of educational voice over which has to be animated and it takes me about triple the time to do the animations
1 step: head movement
2. step: draggers
3. step: triggersSo it is taking me around 18 hours of work and it would be nice to have an option for 2x speed recording since the movements required are not that complex....also for the playing

Recording follows playback settings option
It would be really nice to be able to use the work area bar/markers etc. to set in and out points for recording in the same way as for playback.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like that would be standard fare in an app like this. I checked the documentation, but couldn't find anything.

Sync lips and actions from uploaded video.
I would like to be able to prerecord an actor talking and moving and have character animator analyse their movement and sync the lips and movements.

ZOrder Behavior - Reordering Layers at Recording Time
Hi Guys!
I think a feature "ZOrder Behavior" would improve Character Animator a lot!
For example, consider a character sitting behind a table - where both are separated puppets. As expected, puppet character should be BEHIND the table puppet - but the arms should be OVER the table. Today, it's a big problem when you are dealing with different puppets.
A Zorder feature would solve this problem at recording time. By adding this new behavior to the arm and changing a simple index value, the arm layer can OVERLAP another puppets. So, the character arms would appear OVER the table…

Ch doesn't work with Universal Audio Audio Hardware in external microphone mode
Character Animator seems to not work with Universal Audio audio hardware like Apollo Twin MKII . Luckily I had a focusrite audio interface Scarlet 2i2

Audio drops on Timeline Playhead.
Instead of audio dropping to the beginning of the track (when dragging in), it should show up on the Timeline Playhead mark!
It's mega annoying to have to go back to 00:00 and move the audio to your mark!

Add a way to track faces from pre-recorded video
Ability to load a video source for recording so that remote actors can participate, or to characterize other video in post.

Additional trigger keys
Not sure why the keys associated for triggers are limited to numbers and letters on the keyboard. I ought to be able to use other keyboard characters or even combinations of keystrokes to execute various triggers. I know I can add more using MIDI but that seems kind of silly when there are still so many keys on the keyboard that should be able to be programmed for trigger use.
