Relinking (Audio) Files within Ch
If you change a source clip's name or location, there is no way to rightclick > replace, which is a pain if you have a bigger project

Cloud Files in 2021 must be used
I think it's simply unacceptable that I can't use my cloud saved documents in 2021. "Copy it in local" it's not the safest solutions in my current timeline. Please join the present.

Provide the same virtual camera access options for 2021 and Beta versions as 2020 version
Add camera sources that are currently not regognised as camera sources for reference without requiring OBS. Currently not working on Mac Mini M1. Don't know if its the same across platforms.
Previous version of Char Anim recognizes all cameras connected.1 vote -
Please fix Dynamic Linking to Premiere Pro and After Effects
Since I need to use many features in Premiere Pro and After Effects to finish a project with Ch, I am finding dynamic linking a good idea/concept to do professional work but it always ends up making things unworkable. Right now I have a project I spent 3 weeks on, and I can't even open it in Premiere Pro, all the Ch scenes are 'pending' and I have done everything recommended on the Internet but cannot open the project in either Premiere Pro or After Effects (all the apps are updated). Blink and Physics need to be decoupled from frame rate
Recording a stage with 60fps and 4k settings. Blink lasts exactly 1 Frame. This looks natural in 25fps but with 60, it is just flickering.
Same with physics. Dangle is quite different if stage runs 24, 25, 30 or 60 FPS.Please at least, insert a multiplier in behaviours (blink 2x slower would result in a 30fps like behaviour when performed on a 60 fps stage).
Cycle layers already has something like this.
Idea: scaling physics to 5x or 6x would result in a slowmotion effect. Useful for a ghostly puppet for example. Or underwater

Video file support and parentable push pins
I would like to see the option to put video files like .mp4 into the timeline and preview them at the same time as doing capture or puppeting work in the timeline.
I would like to be able to have a parenting functionality that could be linked to puppet handles via a possible tagging system to control and puppet/move multiple layers at one time in a specific spot on the art work.
Example: Human puppet playing guitar, you want the arm/hand behind the guitar neck to move and you want triggerable fingers on a layer in front of the guitar…

Allow pasting of external lip sync data from After Effects
Hello! Character Animator is amazing, however I have a lip sync workflow in After Effects I prefer over what's included in the software. It would be great to be able to take that keyframe data from after effects and paste it into a lip sync layer. As of now, even if I copy the keyframe data from Character Animator, paste it into a text document and change the values manually, I can't even paste that back in. Would be great to be able to do so!

My Wishlist
Would really love if the characters were more business oriented. I would love to incorporate CA more into my projects, but I find that the characters are too cartoony or the existing characters appeal to a much younger audience.
-business casual clothing
-older aged characters
-blue collar clothing

Fujifilm X Webcam 2 support
I'm using a Fujifilm camera (XT-4) as my main webcam. It's recognized by the system through the official Fujifilm X Webcam 2 application. It's recognized in Skype, Zoom, Discord, Google Meet, and pretty much anything I've tried. However, the webcam isn't recognized at all by Character Animator.
I didn't found any way to make it happen in settings or through the general interface. Using the latest version on Windows.

multiple files open
Please make CA like all other apps and allow us to have more than one project open at a time. Often I need to compare two different files, esp. when troubleshooting rigging. It seems like a cludge to import a second puppet into my project just for this purpose.

well i really dont know if it is your bug, but i cant connect my character animatore to my media encoder
every time i try to export with media encoder.

Jitter reduction In Body Tracking by interpolation.
Hello. I was trying out the new Body tracking and i thought two parameters could help greatly with eliminating jitter.
Interval and Degrees.
While the body is tracked at all points at all time, the system would allow you to remove tracking issues that only last a few frames.
interval would allow you to set a timeframe, that the software would then use as keyframe positions for the limbs and interpolate the tracked limbs towards those keyframe positions.
The degrees function would use the live tracking and at all times be tracking the number of degrees your body tracker limbs…

Add a middle wheel drag for timeline
In After Effects you can click the middle wheel and drag through the timeline. Can you please add a similar feature to Character Animator?

typing letters in timeline should move simultaneouslyone after the other so you can
should move simultaneously one after the other so you can basically type the word out instead of having to move to move the mouse

Allow CH to open and work on files saved on network drives
This is an extremely important function for teams to collaborate on CH. Every time we try to access a file located on a network drive we get the error message -
"Cannot open project << F: //ANIMA/.../Ch Data / repo.noindex / >> If it is on a server, copy it to a local disk and open it from from this location."
So currently we have to backup or copy file packages to and fro different local drives to be able to work off different computers, which is very cumbersome.

Frame nudge
It would be helpful to be able to nudge performance elements forwards or backward a frame at a time. I'm able to do this in Premier by selecting a piece of footage, holding ALT, and using the arrow keys. It's a great way to quickly adjust timings.
