Zoom inactive when hovering above the low part of clip
Zooming in-out horizontally in the multitrack doesn't work if the mouse pointer is over the lower area of a clip. (In the attached screenshot I highlighted the area.)
Additionally, when you zoom out vertically, this area doesn't decrease with the track height, so when there are many tracks, zooming in/out horizontally with Ctrl is likely to not work or be jumpy. The inactive zone only disappears when you zoom out so much that the clip gain/FX/group/stretch icons on the bottom left are not displayed anymore.

Fade handle missing on new clips
Sometimes, when Alt-dragging a selected portion of a clip to create a new one, the fade-out handle on the new clip is missing. You need to readjust the trim of the clip for the handles to become visible again.

Skip file in Locate window
When opening a session, if some assets cannot be found, Audition can locate them. But the window is missing a 'Skip' button to skip files you don't know where to find.
If, say, you cannot locate a certain file, you have to cancel the rest as well and locate them later manually.
In the same window, there is a button to 'Copy Warnings/Errors of All Files', which copies the warning message itself to the clipboard. The only data this message contains is the path of the session file you are trying to open. A better use for this button would…

Audition 2022 crashes on startup
My Audition software crashes on startup - First time attempting to use it was yesterday. I have tried reinstalling with no luck. Have attached Audition log and a screen shot of the message. I tried to just email this to audbugs@adobe.com but an automated message indicated to post here instead.

Bring Back Central Channel Extractor
The Center Channel Extractor is very important to be able to separate out vocals from background sound or music. However, I found after uploading a file, it did not operate as the tutorial explained here: https://helpx.adobe.com/audition/how-to/remove-vocals-background-music.html
The Central Channel Extractor would run but show an error about CPU and latency loading issues. It would have no option for previews of changes via the CCE and lacked an Apply button on the popup menu. In addition, even after using the Effects panel to press "Apply" to get around the lack of buttons on the CCE popup menu...all the effects selected in…
1 voteWe’re unable to see any difference in behavior in the CCE effect, or from your screenshots. The pop up about CPU and latency is a warning, not an error, and can be disabled by checking the box on the dialog if your system is capable of rendering it during real-time playback.
Most of the presets default to use “Center” as the Extract mode, which disables most of the parameters which are used to customize the position of the affected audio in the stereo field. You can change this option to Custom to unlock all the parameters and adjust them as desired.
There are certainly some exciting new advanced in AI and machine learning technologies around isolating different components in a recording. CCE is based on DSP that was developed for isolating elements in a mix based on the content in a specific region of the stereo field. Many of the…

Silence Selected part of clip by a variable amount.
When I'm working on audiobooks, there are occasions that I do not want to edit out breaths on the actors recording, but just to lower the levels of this by a certain amount..
It would work similar to the 'Silence Feature' but instead of reducing the level to complete silence, I'd like to be able to lower the level by a set level that you can customise. At the moment, it's a four key operation (highlighting clip, hitting silence, then grabbing hold of the keyframes, and either dragging the level up, or editing the keyframe level)
I'd also like it…

Bug related to "Convert to Unique Copy" for multiple files
When batch selecting multiple files (e.g. +50 over multiple tracks) and converting to unique copies, the file naming seems random. Not related to any order of where the files are in the track. Just random. Please fix as this is a critical feature for workflow handling multiple tracks with multiple small recording bits.

Burn Audio to CD does not work
Exporting a WAV file with track markers to a CD does not work.
The "conforming" message briefly appears, then a message is shown saying the CD burning has failed.
Log file attached - you will see the exception is thrown by AsyncOperations\private\BurnToCDOperation.cpp
My CD drive is a Pioneer BDR-209M 8.50
I have tried varying the burn speed - same thing happens
I have tried several different brands of blank CD - same thing happens
I have the same issue with all WAV files prepared with CD track markers
Over to you

Scrubbing speed of the playback head using Monogram Orbiter.
I am Monogram user and I would like to use an Orbiter module to control the scrubbing speed of the playback head. Currently, this is at a fixed speed which makes the Orbiter pretty useless for this task.
The issue seems to be that Audition just won't accept cursor movements beyond a certain size or rate.

Bug: Audition (22.x) Some VST3 plugins like Melodyne 5 have no GUI in Audition (and only once after inserted in Premiere Pro)
While some VST3 plugins work fine, some other VST3 plugins like Melodyne 5 will not open its GUI in Audition (and only once in Premiere Pro).
Can this be related to an incorrect ref-count of the IPlugView ? in Audition and Premiere Pro?
Btw, I am using the latest Audition 22.1.1 from CC on Windows 10 pro and the related Plugin is 64bit.

Estimate File Size in dialog box for all supported audio formats
Currently the dialog box only lists estimated file size for multi track mixdown for a few select file formats. Understandably, this was taken down due to complaints about accuracy. However, even a ball park guesstimate is better than nothing when it comes to long rendering times and enormous file sizes. Please re-consider, thanks!

Remember exact start/end positions for copy, transform and paste
It would be great to be able ton copy to new a time segment in the waveform or a rectangle in the spectrum editor, then modify it and replace it exactly at the same place or with the same duration.

Save project with all files including unused existing in the file list pannel
Most people who do not master Audition forget to copy the files present in their file list but not used in the multitrack editor (yet). It would be smart to pop-up something like : Would you like to gather all your files in the projet (like the too hidden session save as all files toggle) And to add to it the option of copying all the files present in the files panel to retrieve them next time.

Filtre papillon : traduction erronée (les francophone se marrent)
The french translation of the two poles parametric filter is nuts. The so called "Filtre papillon" had never existed if french (except for adding butterflies in one's face on instagram). The translation people in Adobe should seriously learn French. The proper translation would be "Filtre de Butterworth", "filtre à pente" or "filtre à 2 pôles".

Add low pass and hi-pass parametric filters the missing frequency automation
Parametric filter has got a low pass frequency parameter, but it is not listed in the automation parameter list. Unfortunately, it is probably the most important parameter one wants to control dynamically.

Adapt automation range/curve to control
The range and the curve of automation parameter are actually always linear and cover the all range of the controlled parameter. This is not consistant for most parameter controls. If you modulate frequency for example, you would often prefer a exp. curve to get more sensitivity in the bass and medium range than between 10-22kHz. Why not doing something like on the spectrum editor visualisation to adjust the min-max and incurvation, as in most proper live sound controllers ? The same problem would therefore allow to control much more precisely delays, filters, pitch, spatial positions and any specific controllers of…

Improvements on the pitch bender
I think the pitch bender could use improvements. Maybe have something where I can click on the line and enter a value I want. For example, sometimes I want a specific value like 5.0 and sometimes I can only get 4.8 or 5.1. It would be better if I can type out the value instead to make it more accurate.

waveform editor: HUD to show crossfade duration
Be great to have the edit crossfade value displayed, and adjustable, in the HUD next to clip gain. (Rather than hidden away in preferences).
