You used to be able to press Ctrl+Tab to switch between open files in prior versions of Adobe Audition-- the same as you can do in any web browser and most other applications. But now you can't. That makes it harder to be productive. It would help save a lot of time if we could Ctrl+Tab between files again.3 votes
Thanks for the report. This is working for me on macOS and WIn. Can you check your keyboard shortcut for “Switch to next File” and verify it’s only set to Ctrl+Tab? Thanks!
I use a Magic Trackpad or MBP touchpad when working in Audition. I could scroll and pinch to zoom in with precision (even while the audio was playing). In the last few updates, this has gone downhill in a big way. Scrolling almost invariably now zooms out and the scrolling motion is... I believe the term is "janky". PLEASE fix -- this is adding significant time to my editing workflow. What was once seamless and invisible is now a glaring time suck. Thanks for looking at it.7 votes
Hi Al- Thanks for the report. When did the degradation start? New version of Audition? New version of macOS? Thanks!
I use a DELL XPS 15 laptop with the following spec: RAM= 16GIG, CPU=512 SSD, Speed= 2.8Ghz Dedicated VRAM=4GIG Nvidia 1050. Despite all these, Adobe Auditions hangs, stops responding everytime I have to drag audio clips around the timeline. What should I do ?2 votes
Hi Olanrewaju Odutayo-
Are you using delay and/or full reverb plug-ins? Do you have the Phase Analysis window open?
