  1. BUG - Clip panning plays correctly but isn't rendered on bounce or mix down

    Version 14.2.0.34 on Intel Mac

When a stereo clip is on a stereo track the clip pan envelope sets the balance between the left and right channels. If the clip pan is set to L100 then you will only hear the clip's left channel. If that stereo clip is a 2 channel clip created from 2 channels of a multichannel audio file then the pan envelope will work correctly on playback but will be ignored on mixdown.

    To reproduce the bug:

Create a new stereo multitrack session
Open a multichannel audio file, select two channels of that file and drag…

  2. We have to be able to select multiple tracks at once. Otherwise audition will never be a go to DAW for post audio imo.

Please PLEASE work on our ability to select multiple tracks at once. This would be a massive time saver.

    Thank you!

  3. Add a single button to arm all tracks for record in Multitrack Session

I record 32 tracks of live audio coming into Audition via Dante. It is cumbersome to click each individual track to arm them all for recording. A single "arm all" button would make this task so much faster.

  4. Pre-render resets/restarts when volume is changed via track dial. This should not happen when FX are pre-fader.

Pre-rendered track resets/restarts when the track's volume is changed via track dial.
This should not happen when FX are pre-fader.
In fact, it works properly when changing the track volume with the mixer screen slider (it does not restart the pre-render.)
It seems like a really easy bug to fix, and it really kills my work flow when working with a lot of frozen tracks.

  5. Bug: Clip automation doesn't render sometimes, including on export

I added an effect to a clip and added some automation for that effect on the clip. During editing, sometimes the effect automation doesn't render. I would assume, though, it would work on export, but even export won't always render the automation. This makes clip automation broken, which is unfortunate. It's also unfortunate I don't have an proper way to share any system details in the form of a bug report unless the program crashes. This is build 12.1.0.182 on Windows 10. Cheers.

  6. Please make Ripple Delete affect Bus automation

Currently, when you Edit > Insert > Insert Silence into a session, the automation keyframes on busses will move accordingly. Great.

But when you Edit > Ripple Delete > Time Selection in All Tracks, automation keyframes on busses will not move accordingly. Not great at all.

    Like so: https://youtu.be/_hq7BsYotrg

If there's some advantage to Audition performing this way, I can't imagine it. But it'd be great to at least have an "Adjust track keyframes when performing ripple edits in busses" option in Preferences > Multitrack.

  7. Remove pitch change when using shuttle

I'd like the shuttle to work like Premiere Pro's that doesn't change the pitch when I speed up the audio playback. This would help me edit so much faster.

  8. Assign automatically track name from file name

When creating an new multi track session, the tracks are labelled "track 1", "track2 ", aso... We have to change these name for good organisation and visibility. Track by track. When you have 35 tracks or more...
It would be a great time saver to give the possibility to automatically name the tracks by the name of the originating file. Up to the user to eventually rename the tracks before importing, but many are often already well labelled.

I’ve seen this request before for when new tracks are generated with a file, but can I clarify that you’re asking for a feature that would rename existing tracks with existing content based on the filename of the first clip added to the track? Would filenames be more useful than metadata, especially for large SFX libraries which may have less descriptive filenames?
