I do audio work that a lot of the time includes lots of markers. I do this by saying "1, 2, 3, etc" or saying the slide name etc. When editing I have to highlight the section, mark it, and relabel if necessary. I included a quick video of a slide for demonstration. I zoom in to edit, then have to zoom out to mark, then zoom back in to keep editing. On jobs where slides are a couple paragraphs each and there are hundreds of slides, this gets real tedious real quick.
My idea is to create the "Cascading Marker" where as you edit, instead of having to zoom out, highlight, mark, go back to editing, you would place a marker where you want the file to start, edit the section, then place your next marker at the stopping point. The markers would then auto connect to each other marking off the section.
This would save a lot of time and hassle in my opinion.
