Error when saving files from Audition
Working in Mulitrack in Audition, mixing down, and ultimately saving the mixed-down file as a .wav - according to Audition, everything works and looks normal.
However, when I try to bring that mixed-down file into another program, in this instance After Effects, the following errors appear:
==============
After Effects warning: A nullptr was dereferenced.
[click Ok]
After Effects error: Could not read from the source. Please check the settings and try again. (86::1)
[click OK]
After Effects error: file [filename] cannot be imported - this '.wav' file is damaged or unsupported.
==============
I also attempted to import into Premiere, but the program froze and had to be force-quit.
Please provide any updates or workarounds. Thank you.
Audition Build 22.4.0.49
After Effects 22.4.0 (Build 56)
Premiere Pro Build 22.4.0. (Build 57)

Okay - commenting here instead of deleting though I figured it out. Though the errors are very cryptic and jargon-y, the errors vanished when I cleaned out my media cache. I had enough space on the drive, but for some reason, Adobe wasn't recognizing it. I cleaned it out and rebooted the machine and was able to import the .wav file.
In essence, this wasn't an export error from Audition at all, but rather a full cache (and less than user-friendly series of dialog boxes) when importing into AE.
Hope this can be helpful to someone else in the future.
