Audition sometimes forgets the location of files
I had some files wav files in folder for my multitrack. For a while Adobe remembered the file location. Now it seems to have forgot it and I now have difficulty finding the original location. You can see it in this image

There are many reason this could happen. When Audition cannot find the location of the files on disk, so it shows them as offline. If you are using a NAS file storage, make sure you are logged in to the NAS correctly.
If you are using an external drive, make sure that he drive name letter or drive name hasn't changed. Or a whole bunch of other reasons, but these two are common. You can find out the location where Audition thinks the files are and from there you can find them on disk and relink them. Open "Windows>Properties..." panel, then in the multitrack, deselect any clips, then select the clip you want to link. This will populate the Properties panel with information for that clip. You can then expand the section labeled "Info (clip offline), and look at the sub-section Source File under File Path. This is where the file was when Audition last linked to that file.If you can post a picture of that panel I can try to inspect and help.

Thanks for bringing it up. I put the wrong image. This was the image I was supposed to put.

What does this picture of a CD collection have to do with this request?
