There should be a easier way to check room tone length in the end of tracks - track length sync / selection align right / reverse multitrack
For audiobook production purposes there are lots of standards.
For example: https://www.acx.com/help/acx-audio-submission-requirements/201456300#Head-Tail-Spacing
There are 2 big major problems in Audition (ACX standards).
1- The separate track file lengths are not synchronized with the lengths shown in multitrack editor and there is no easy way to do that. (If you delete some part of the original track the length of the multitrack version stays the same, what is the purpose of that?)
2-There is no easy way to check room tone length in the end of tracks
If you have over 100 tracks in multitrack you have to do that manually by grabbing the endpoint of every track, moving it back, releasing the mouse button, grabbing again and moving again to right where you cannot move the out point more. Ok that was synchronizing. Checking the length of the room tone is another story. Since İ cannot use the timeline for multiple tracks as reference.
At this point another method would ease my pain, like selecting multiple tracks and aligning them to right or at least being able to reverse all selected tracks at once.
I hope I could explained my problem and needs in a clean way. Because at that point I'm feeling like audition is not the right tool for my job. My projects are rejected caused by those kind of easy mistakes.
