Bug Issue --- Please see the section below
Adobe will not allow my Creative Labs AE-9 sound card to work in MME mode...Adobe states there is an internal device error when you try to select any of the options in this category. This mode is necessary for me to be able to record my Sibelius songs into an audio version. I have always been able to select the What you Here option and record not only Sibelius, but also things like a live Pod Cast or chat. I use Audition because this allows me to then edit the audio files and fix any quality issues. This is not working currently but has worked with no issues in the past.
Adobe will not let me load my external effects programs even though Adobe is pointed to the correct VST folder and the VST's are located there...Adobe shows none of my external effects programs that are available. These effects include one's from East West Sounds Online ( I have their Composer Cloud Plus ) and some from Native Instruments. The effects work just fine in Sibelius Ultimate, and I was able in the past to load these effects into Audition to add reverb and other desirable effects to the audio tracks to provide a better listening experience upon final mixdown.
Adobe sees my ASIO drivers (Provided by Creative Labs) but does not allow for duplexing (Listening and Recording at the same time), nor does it see Sibelius as an input device. I know that Audition does not work with Windows ASIO drivers, but as you can see from the screen shots, the ASIO driver I have is from Creative Labs. And I tested the system with one of your employee's - Parul by plugging in a microphone to the external control system XLR jack on the AE-9 soundcard and recording me talking. The system recorded my voice (we could see the meters moving and a wav file creation happen in Audition, but no audio was heard upon playback. If I were going to use the ASIO mode in Audition, I would need a way to get the audio from Sibelius to Audition for it to record, and then a way to hear that audio being played back in Audition. In other DAW programs this recording is possible due to a function called Rewire. While Sibelius supports this function, in Audition, the function while supported, does not work. Also, even just loading a wav file into Audition and trying to play it back produces on audio from either my headphones or my speakers. ( This also always worked in the past )
