Audio clip does not open in Audition after selecting "Edit clip in Audition" from Premiere Pro
I used to be able to work seamlessly between Premiere Pro and Audition while editing audio clips of my video files. Now, when I try it after the update, it does everything except open the file in Audition. Ive tried everything from quick troubleshooting tricks to full factory reset and install of my operating system. nothing seems to work. Wondering if I'm the only one with this issue...?

@Durin G — any update?

Hope this issue get a fix soon. Dynamic link is one of the main reasons why I chose Adobe and not Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve.

Same issue here. I would think that the interoperability between the components is a key element in the Creative Cloud offering? How did this slip through the Q&A process? When can we expect the update that Durin G is talking about?

Same issue! And when in Multitrack of Audition, the audio starts playing before the waveform shows a few frames before while I'm scrubbing. All files are doing this. Something is bad since updating these apps or updating to Catalina...

Same Issue. Really need this fixed soon please, is there an ETA on the update?

A change in cross-application functionality with MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) appears to have introduced this problem in certain configurations. The command line parameters Premiere sends to Audition are being stripped or limited. We anticipate this to be resolved in an upcoming update.

Hello, I am encountering the same problem. I've tried everything too, like installing and reinstalling both programs, importing the project files again, etc. My problem started before the update and I thought the update could help but it didn't. I really don't know what to do to fix it.
