Adobe Audition 2019 does not play in Dropbox
Ever since upgrading to AA 2019, none of the audio files or sessions will play within dropbox as they did before in 2018. I've gone thru this countless times with support and we can't seem to get to the root of the problem. Nothing has changed on my system except for the 2019 install. How can I get my adobe audio files and sessions to open and play within dropbox as I have been doing for the last 5 years?
Every other file opens. The audio even plays with windows media player within dropbox but nothing opens via adobe audition. I must move each folder to the desktop in order to work on it.
Thanks - I hope there is a fix for this Adobe Audition 2019 / Dropbox / Windows 10 Pro issue.

Are you certain that you have Dropbox syncing properly? OneDrive will now allow you to have "online" and "offline" files, the former being only accessible on demand (requiring internet connectivity). When the files are "online only" (again, with OneDrive) the computer downloads them when they are needed and then deletes the file again after utilizing the data, otherwise it is basically just a pointer to a file. My immediate suspicion is that this is a DropBox problem and not an Audition problem (and believe me, I'd pin it on Adobe in a heartbeat).

Hi, Jamie.
Please reach out directly to audbugs@adobe.com to troubleshoot this issue. There have been no other reports of similar issues that we're aware of, and we have been unable to reproduce this issue in our own testing. We need additional details to continue.
Thank you.

why will windows media player play audio files with no problem in dropbox, but audition will not?

No error messages - Audition files simply do not play - all other files do. Evrything has worked for years until AA2019
