No chipmunk on playback with increased speed..
I edit hundreds of hours of audio for podcasts, narration, audiobooks, etc. I like to increase playback but it would be great to do that without the voice chipmunking so bad. On some voices, particularly female voices that are high, that pushes sibilance so high that it almost hurts to listen to. If I watch a youtube video on 1.5, they do not sound like a chipunk.

I think it's probably just an artifact of being easier to code simply reading the waveform faster, rather than the difficulty of interpolating the waveform to a faster playback at the same pitch. It's also, ironically likely less processor intensive. I agree - we need Adobe to do the hard work here.

This please! Please just port how JLK scrubbing exactly works in Premiere with the Maintain Pitch while scrubbing option turned on! I hate how if I want to listen to audio in 2X i can't understand it. It doesn't make any sense for an audio focused application to work this way! Please make this more user friendly!
