Ripple delete autoplay
When I do a ripple delete in the multitrack view, it would be nice if the time selection tool jumped back about 1 second and autoplayed to allow me to hear the edit i just made. This would be very handy for removing a a lot of vocal fillers from a section on speech.
I don't like the current process of making a cut, clicking back, then pressing the space bar to listen back to my cut. It may seem trivial but when you have to remove something like 30 "ummms" in a minute, this is would save a good amount of time and wear on my hands.

Have you tried enabling the “Skip Selection” toggle in the playback controls? This allows you to preview an edit prior to deleting the selection, and loops a bit of pre/post roll during the preview.

skip selection isnt good at all. I tried it. So basically, what I'm asking for is a pre-roll sort of like punch and roll. I need to be able to ripple delete on the fly and have the playhead automatically backup about 2 seconds (preferably adjustable) and restart and ALSO as I just posted a new suggestion, at the same playback speed that I was last using. That way I can smoke along in L, hit stop, ripple delete, and auto pre-roll/preview without needing to hit any other buttons. It would probably increase my editing speed by a good 20%. As it is today, I have to manually place the playhead and hit 2 buttons to get back to editing. Skip selection was really wonky. Not enough preview time and it just felt awkward.
