Insert new recorded audio at playhead
Would be nice to be able to open a wav file, go to select location with playhead and have the option to record new audio over (as is currently) AND INSERT WITHOUT DESTROYING CURRENT AUDIO... should be a simple thing to do no????
Thanks for the upvotes and good comments. We’ve been in conversations with some of our prerelease and VO users about this functionality and getting some fantastic feedback around design and workflow. Please stay tuned…

This would save me loads of time and improve the overall read for when recording a second take of a line. Please Adobe add this!

Having this mode would be great in my work as a voice over artist when wanting to re-read just a section of recorded audio which happens to be in the middle of a file / timeline while not destroying or recording over any of the current audio, just move the current audio down the timeline.
