The ability to scale vertically in the spectral editor, just like the waveform, so you can work in more detail
When a stereo file is open in the spectral view it would be nice if you could zoom in vertically to be able to work in greater detail. If you had a choice to view one track while still editing both it would double the current resolution, but zoom would be better. This would only apply to the displayed wave and the technical resolution you work at would still be the same obviously, but it would help when working at specific frequencies.

Great, very useful.
I'm happy to say that you CAN zoom in vertically in Spectral Frequency view, independently from the Waveform view. By placing your mouse cursor over the frequency ruler on the right edge of the Spectral view, you can use your mouse scroll wheel or two-finger drag on a trackpad to zoom in and out. You can also click and drag to scroll the frequency range in view. For exact control, you can right-click and drag between two frequencies in this ruler to zoom into that precise range.
You can also just right-click the ruler and choose "Zoom In (Frequency)" to zoom in. Depending on your OS, there are default keyboard shortcuts assigned to the spectral zoom commands and you can find them by selecting Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and searching for "zoom"
