Audition should stop hanging when I move/drag clips around a timeline
I use a DELL XPS 15 laptop with the following spec: RAM= 16GIG, CPU=512 SSD, Speed= 2.8Ghz Dedicated VRAM=4GIG Nvidia 1050. Despite all these, Adobe Auditions hangs, stops responding everytime I have to drag audio clips around the timeline. What should I do ?
2 votesHi Olanrewaju Odutayo-
Are you using delay and/or full reverb plug-ins? Do you have the Phase Analysis window open?
Thanks!

Multitrack export issue
I want to do export. I switch some tracks to solo mode. After mixdowning there is a some noise in resulted mixdown file. But if I switch all BUS tracks to mute mode then resulted mixdown file is ok. BUS tracks are not associated with my solo tracks. But this BUS tracks have some effects that assume noise to mixdown file. So if some tracks switched to solo mode - another tracks must to be muted automatically, isn't it? I see this issue in cc 2019, 2020.

Trackpad use has degraded in recent updates
I use a Magic Trackpad or MBP touchpad when working in Audition. I could scroll and pinch to zoom in with precision (even while the audio was playing). In the last few updates, this has gone downhill in a big way. Scrolling almost invariably now zooms out and the scrolling motion is... I believe the term is "janky". PLEASE fix -- this is adding significant time to my editing workflow. What was once seamless and invisible is now a glaring time suck. Thanks for looking at it.
3 votesHi Al- Thanks for the report. When did the degradation start? New version of Audition? New version of macOS? Thanks!

RBVirtualFolder64.dll is part of Roxio cd/dvd burning software. Could you please try closing it as it probably launches in the background at startup. Thanks!

Effects modules VANISH after you press "Apply." Please have all effects and plug-ins stay UP and OPEN until we're finished using them.

Serious Gain Staging Problem with BUS TRACK!!!!
Hi! Audition is having a serious problem with gain staging! when you route a stereo track to a stereo bus you loose aprox. 3dB in that bus!
why? this is really a serious problem and you should fix that immediately1 votePlease check the default panning mode in Preferences>Multitrack>Default panning mode. If it’s set to -3.0 dB Center, it will be -3.0 dB down. You should have this setting set to Left/Right Cut (Logarithmic). I have attached the two places where you can change this setting (Preferences and Session Properties (Panning). Thanks.

export a video file from audition without using premiere
export a video file from audition without using premiere
2 votesYou can export a video file with Adobe Media Encoder from the Multitrack in Audition. Do you want to export in Multitrack or Wave Editor?
Thanks!
